Due to a potential security thread, the U.S. Capitol (building) is on lockdown after shots were apparently fired in the visitor center area - U.S. White House is also reportedly currently on lockdown

Little other information right now but will update as it comes in




WASHINGTON – The U.S. Capitol is on lockdown.

Shots have reportedly been fired in the Visitors Center area.

The White House is also on lockdown.

Roads near the visitor center were shut down and nobody was being allowed to enter of exit the buildings, officials said.

"If you are outside, seek cover," the alert said.

Yeah that what i am seeing on the news seems like the situation has been resolved quickly with no fatalities.

Still very early.

Also heard the White House has been locked down, no surprise i guess.

Where is black lives matter?

He was an "unarmed" black man, therefore it was systemic racism by their standards.
