SkepticOverlord: Need Info on Safari Compatibility with ATS Updates

Hi SO,

Since your latest updates I've been made aware by members of tiled avatars, slightly over running avatars and the need to refashion our avatars. What I am posting about is that on my MacBook Pro laptop which is running Safari I only see the same avatars as always. When members make a screenshot of my avatar it shows tiled avatars. When members on the Avatar Creation thread post to show their new extended avatars I only see gray background, no long avatar. It would be nice to see their artwork.

My question to you is how do I update my avatar on Safari (I'm flying blind here, the members would have to tell me if I set it right), and how do I arrange my settings which are on default to see the new avatars that are extended?

And I've gotta say the best background for the pages by far that is interesting and doesn't distract imho is the space background. It fits most of the forums. BTS could use it too if not lighter subject matter. Lol, this is sounding like a business letter, sorry, not my intention at all,

I am running Safari on my Crapple iFad.

I can see the extended avatars, and all that other good stuff.

Running Safari with Yosemite, not seeing the tiling either unless it's been screen captured by someone else. The sites rotating stable of backgrounds are crisp & clear, forum index under new is blocky now instead of being just a list.

I don't log out so I don't see the white screen or portal/main page.
When I did see it, it was way too busy and off putting.

I have seen complaints that some people find the tiled avatars irritating.
If you can't see them anyway, you might be better off letting sleeping dogs lie.

I've been reading the Avatar Creations thread and they have found a way to stop the repeating with an invisible background of a certain length and SO's new guidelines also endorse this. Or if a person likes they can put together a lengthy avatar for a longer effect. It sounds like members need to stop in there and get a tune-up. I would like to but it would be moot for me, but my avatar would look better to y'all.
