This is not the first time that Hungary has done this, but it's happening again and it's happening now.

Hungary declared a state of emergency and said troops would be deployed to reinforce its borders following the closure of a key migration route.

European leaders' move this week to close the Western Balkans route and consider Turkey's offer to take back any migrants or refugees drew condemnation and outrage from human-rights groups.

Closing the route has left around 14,000 desperate people stranded along the Greek border with Macedonia amid rapidly-deteriorating conditions.

www.nbcnews.com...

Europe has finally had enough. The human tide coming from the East turned into a human tsunami and everyone is starting to drown.

It would seem that even Putin and Russia have had enough with the quiet news that Russia is to start withdrawing troops after telling Assad trhe primary objectives of Russia's intervention had been achieved so it's time to talk peace now.

The whole situation now lays in a delicate balance - can Assad broker peace in Syria so that everyone can go back home, or is this just a pause before things turn really nasty? What about ISIS? Will they lay down their arms? Will they get their own state? (God forbid)

I wonder how much of this will actually get covered instead of how evil Trump is.

Probably none.

It might be the time to start shooting and solve the problem once and for all.

Lets hope not.
And as far as the OPs thread goes , spot on. But , and there always is at least one , going back home even under an Assad paradise on earth Syria is not going to happen. Recall , the ME's immigrants were invited in by the European countries (at first). But , even they had to realize what was going to happen.Greece was "overran in a day" . From there the tide spread throughout Europe. Then was realized the problems associated with what they had done. France tried to close off its borders first. Then some other European countries tried to follow. But the deed was already done. Hindsight is always 20-20.

Actually, most European countries were astonished when Germany's Merkel started to encourage this crisis to happen. She's bow paying for her stupidity in the ballot box and the ire of European colleagues.

It's a shame. Germany are the most pro-European nation, keen to see the further evolution of a federal European super-state. If Germany's actions have done anything, they have highlighted the dangers of a German in charge of Europe!

Poor Hungary.

Hungary, is the same like all those failed east european states, that only take money from the EU, but when they are asked to pay something back, you can see what happens right now.

It´s a joke and a shame whats going on with the refugees in europe and the so called western states in the world.
Let those refugees become two millions, would it be a problem to spread them among 500 Millions of europeans?

Yes, as you see, we can´t even stand one million, because some europeans are only eurpoeans to get money from the EU, like almost all of those eastern states like poland, bulgaria, romania, hungaria, slovakia, and so on.

One of the biggest mistakes of the EU, to let those third world countries become eu members.
But there are also western states like france, that won´take more than several thousands, while others, human acting countries, take hundreds of thousands to a million refugees, because they are people that suffer.

No need to talk about the democracy bomber who caused this crisis, how much syrian/iraqui/libyan/afghan refugees is the US going to take? Something with 30.000 i heared, like france.

We should fill cruise liners, container ships, transport vehicles to send 75% of the refugees to the US, so that the one who caused this situation has to deal with it. The 25% left refugees we have to take, because we are US vasalls.

And we should send all those antisocial eastern states back to russia, where the belong to!

We should learn from the pros: it would be much more efficient if we gathered up large groups of them and then offered them "a nice hot shower".

The even worse situation is that 65% of these immigrants are illiterate. 15% may have university degrees, but that's 150,000 out of 1000000. The other 650,000 are unlikely to ever work. The German population are not going to be too happy about having tax rises, public services cut, their religious and personal freedoms reduced all to keep the newcomers happy.

Just read up on European history.
Hungary was a much bigger country once in the past, and it has seen enough. Oh, how mighty the Huns once were.
They have learned from the past lessons. By now they know when it's time to call it a spade.

Alas, 150 years of Turkish rule over their country would do that to anyone.
Orban Viktor is right to protect his country. They've see this before.
