A De Haviland DHC-6-400, registered as 9N-AHH, operated by Tara Air is missing after departing Pokhara airport in Nepal for what should have been a 20 minute flight. According to reports the weather at both ends of the flight was good, and there were no radio calls.

There were 20 passengers and 3 crew on board. Three helicopters have been dispatched to search. The aircraft was built last year.

The airline reported good weather at either end of the flight, but the military said that there was dense fog at the crash site that made recovery difficult.

The minister for civil aviation already blames the weather. He says snow, rain, and heavy fog were in the area at the time.
