In other words, you want to believe it because it confirms your biases. Gotcha.

PS: United Airlines isn't part of Clinton politics. Heck the ticket taker that allegedly kicked this woman out of line isn't part of Clinton politics either. She's just an employee of the airline and the airline is a business that has existed longer than Clinton has been running for office.

There's nothing to suggest this story is actually true, nothing at all. A man calls a right leaning DJ tells him his wife (we don't even know if he has a wife) had this happen to her - he wasn't there, it's 'her' recollection but she wasn't the one recollecting it......................... but so many on here are straight on it as proof of what H Clinton (who I'm guessing definitely wasn't there if it ever took place) is like.

Please allow me to introduce myself.
Not that I would ever deny anyone their own opinion.

Exactly. My first phone call would have been to United Airlines corporate office or customer service to make a formal complaint. Not to a radio show. That tells you a lot right there.

If you were unjustly denied boarding of a plane on which you had paid for passage would you first alert the media or go to the customer service desk at the airport? Do you ask to speak to a radio celebrity or the attendants supervisor?

My little sister must have been a charter member. Her first full sentence was "I'm telling mommy."

If this is true, I will bet dollars to donuts the airline employee that got so offended over this was not raised in a country where first amendment principals are a part of their DNA.

Well did Rush ask for any? Proof that is. Or did he simply embrace this callers story? I was on the radio with Howard Stern many years ago and I told him a story. ( a true story ) and not once did he stop me or ask me to prove what I was saying. My story was good for the show. Nobody cared if it was the truth or a lie. It entertained the listeners. The whole point of a radio show.

Link to the source of the story?

Would be nice to check out the original article.

sorry.....this is rush Limbaugh, there is no "fact-checking", or, "other side of the story" allowed.

Aside from this being Rush Limbaugh with absolutely NO corroborating evidence. The guy Andrew (no last name) never said he saw it, he didn't claim he was there and when asked if there were witnesses he didn't answer.

I think the caller Andrew is FOS or it is possible that his wife gave him a BS story for why she missed her plane.

Ooo the story just went from amusing to way more interesting. Throw sex into the mix even if it's just by implication. Thanks!

It seems that most responders are in the same camp. They're not believing this and I'm not seeing much in the way of outrage. Unless it's outrage towards anyone who believes the story. Hmmmmmm.

Anything originating from Rush Limbaugh or anything to do with him should be taken with 10 tons of grains of salt.

You know how you line up into the gate? And she asked in a normal tone of voice... She was talking politics with fellow passengers as it's a very big topic these days naturally. So during the discussion, my wife called Hillary Clinton a bitch,

I'm almost positive that the bolded part is either an exaggeration, a lie, or half-truth. In any case, it is doubtful that someone gets kicked off an airplane for saying something in a normal tone of voice. She likely didn't ONLY say that Clinton was a bitch. I'm sure there were quite a few other negative things said about her.

It could've been she used the word 'bitch'. If there were kids around, which I'm pretty sure there would've been, they might've pulled her for that reason. The guy probably pinned it because she used Hillary in the same sentence. They probably would've pulled her if she had called her mother-in-law a 'bitch' too. Not a family friendly word to use in an airplane line.

The attendant would have been fired. United would definitely want to issue an apology to the family. There's just no way this could have happened as stated. If United didn't address it other passengers onboard or in the jetway waiting to board would have.
At this point I'm ready to believe this was just some lame brain looking for their 15 minutes of fame.

When you're in the service industry you sort of don't want to piss off customers or potential customers. When you fly the crew may be in control but once on the ground you are again and an angry customer will tell people about a bad experience faster than they will praise an exceptional experience. If this were true United would fire the offending employee and make an apology to this family.

Used to be it depended upon whether the drunk in question was a "friendly" drunk, or a belligerent drunk.

I don't know whether that's the case anymore in this post-911 world, or not...

That's odd.... usually the Clintons would just put someone on a small plane and have it "accidentally" crash.

So, the husband say his wife is an angel? No surprise there. I'd be interested in knowing why she was actually pulled. Was she drunk and belligerent?
