First in the times before minds were able to feel the river of time,
there was the flow, forcing its way through the dense sea of plasma.
It caused the particles to vibrate till they broke apart and the tension
errupted in waves of cooling matter reaching through the nothingness.

All had happened before something was there to notice,
then the first stars appeared,
the first planets were formed,
the first forces learned to balance their powers.
The motion gave birth to time and somewhere
in an outer arm of a little spiraling galaxy
two bodies collided: Theia and Gaia.

From two they made three,
while the one was swallowed.
Not to disappear, but to live from there on
in the realm of possibilities, the half shadow
in which your mind goes to dream at night,
alive but not living, existing,
but not in flesh and blood.

Beings filled with the purest form of energy,
with consciousness, lived on Theia.
Unnoticed by the microbes and amoebas
the miracle of life, developing on Gaia
For millenias side by side, unseen and unheard,
connected and far apart,
untill one day one of the
enlightened vibrations on Theia
took an interest in the flesh
of one of his sisters on Gaia.

Many followed his example
the celebration of unification took place,
the sacred marriage from soul and body.
Enrichening both sides,
giving the next generations of Theians
the flesh and blood they were lacking
and giving the next generations of Gaians,
the spirit and soul they needed.

The first generation of vibrating flesh,
founded the greatest city of all times:
Atlantis.

You can really feel the silence and the vastness of space and time in your poem. Good luck in the contest!
