Vote for chains, you'll get them.
But it won't be so easy trying to "vote" the chains off.
It is very easy. All you have to do is motivate the people to push for chains.
There, fixed it for you.

Thats not a solution.
You cant let them decide when they dont have anything to decide.
How can they live there lifes if there are no jobs for them with no money?
No job = no money
No money = no food
No food= death.
USA has a population just over 300 million.
What happens when there are only 100 million jobs?
What do you do with the other 200 million ?
You cant just let them starve and die.
Its simple maths.
The only thing to decide is lay down and die or take up arms and take by force from the those who do have jobs.
And if 200 million are starving you think those 200 million wont take up arms against the 100 million?
And when it gets to that sort of uprising/revolutions you get catatrophes like the USSR, cuba, revolutionary france and maoist China.
I see so, you are of the mind that people cannot make decisions for themselves.
It's a very popular idea.
Democratic Socialism and Communism are the exact same things,

Which is why we need to avoid what happens in places like Russia and China.
We don't want the masses riseing up and forceing there policy's on us.
Mao let them all die in his collective socialist utopian society, it was hundreds of millions.

Mao was a fascist dictator not a socialist. There is nothing resembling socialism in Mao's China.
Socialism is what Scandinavian society uses. Some of Europe as well.
However, contrary to Western usage, these states do not describe themselves as "communist" nor do they claim to have achieved communism; they refer to themselves as Socialist states or Workers' states that are in the process of constructing socialism.[

Capitalism. Socialism. What's the third option?
There is no third option, we must choose.
Black and White again.
Of course there is a third option. We can have a system that uses both capitalism and socialism. We do that today, but we need a bit more socialism.
But once we vote for that "little bit more socialism" we'll never be able to vote it back.
Why can't we? If it's the will of the people it can be done.
You say we need "more Socialism"
Explain which areas and HOW...go
I don't do requests. As has been stated before, if you wish to converse on these topics you must be a bit more respectful in your approach.

As expected, you believe that we have an unhampered market economy.
I did not say that. Why must you continue to put words in my mouth and make things up? That is not a very intelligent debate tactic.

WHAT DECISIONS!
No jobs and no saftey net means NO MONEY!
So the only decisions are to quietly die or fight?
And history shows how they choose to fight.
And when the serfs rise up its the middle class like me that end up in the guillotine or in front of the fireing squad while the real elite skip out the country.
So unless you have a bunker, private army, your own island or you want a police state to keep those serfs down your going to need a better plan than just "let them eat cake".
Voting FOR socialism and thinking you can ever go back is like voting FOR the removal of the 1st Amendment then trying to speak out to get it back.
Face it, you just want socialism.
Nothing to be ashamed of.

Apples and oranges. Horrible example.
Socialism is an economic theory that can be implemented in specific areas that do not have to affect the entire government infrastructure. If it doesn't work, you use the will of the people to change it.

I have nothing to be ashamed of. I am a socialist and, of course, I want socialism. But I only want to implement it in certain specific areas. We can maintain individual rights and protect capitalist practices while using a socialist model for basic needs of the people.
Full-blown socialism is just Communism and that is not what I want.
