Not only is it unobservable, much like a painting is unobservable to a blind person, it can't be interacted with either.

It is more like we are inside a bag, and can only interact with and see what is inside the bag. Lay the bag on a few marbles, they aren't inside the bag, and can't be seen through it, but cause the bag to deform, thus interacting with what is inside it.

Just the way I see it as I drive to work in Indiana at 4AM

I got to agree with ghost, the OP is more like one sees in philosophy and metaphysics than the space forum.

I come to the science forums to talk about things scientific, in a scientific manner. I couldn't even follow the OP, and I know this subject very well.

Right here and right now there is what can be seen/observed and right here and right now there is what is observing/seeing - That which is seeing will never be seen.
Could it be that the dark bit of the eye (the pupil) contains the unobservable universe?
Maybe the light floats around in the seeing.

Dark matter interacts with the visible universe through gravitation. Hypothetically, this means we could interact with dark matter gravitationally too.

Basically that if the op was explained in metaphysical terms concerning the human / alien SOUL/SPIRIT/INTERNAL ENERGY locations moving through the Observable and Un-Observable universal space as constant static like energy interacting with the various energy fields IN OTHER DIMENSIONS associated with materials in the un & observable universe. Then yes your statements would be more plausible with your recommendations to change thread locations to philosophy & metaphysics...

If only there was a material that could detect that flow and then be added to materials that then can transmit the energy into usable energy source. Material would react some what like solar panel but would actually move, spin , wave or energize from static build up on said material.
