I guess it depends on whom you are asking this question of.

If you mean to ask this of God, no one knows, not until we stand before Him. If you are asking other Christians, then you will get as many answers as there are Christians and denominations on the world.

You could try to say that everyone agrees in the divinity of Christ, His divine nature, but then you would have Unitarians and Gnostics more or less disagreeing with that and they call themselves Christians.

So, to directly address the OP, I'm not even sure why you posed this question. It sort of serves no purpose as it has no human answer.

I get it. You have no defense against my examples, so you attack me personally for calling out Christian hypocrisy and holding your feet to the fire.

Carry on......

Come on, just because someone has a different opinion than you and puts theirs up against yours does not mean they hate you or anyone else who shares the same opinion as you.

This is a persecution complex. Someone disagreeing with you is not them hating you. Do you disagree with Islam? If so, by your logic you hate them and what they stand for.

I can quote scripture that says we are judged on what we do, not what we believe, though that is the point of the Bible, to cause division with its vague and often contradictory nature.

James 2
24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

By what you DO, not what you believe.

Do you agree that if you do not forgive others then you also will not be forgiven by God no matter how much faith in a sacrifice you have? If so, you agree with Jesus, if not then you disagree with him in favor of Paul.

We are all judged on what we do, but it is by faith in Him alone that we are forgiven, reconciled and saved.

Remember of all those who lived by Mosaic Law and stood before judgment, only 3 (?) were ever accounted righteous in God's eyes. That's a pretty empty Heaven and tells you how likely it is that by judgment alone you will ever enter Heaven.

So what you're saying is that if you believe Jesus died for your sins then you can do whatever you wish and get away with it?

Christians talk about justice but where is the justice in that? By that logic a murderer and rapist who was never caught can honestly believe Jesus died for his sins on his deathbed and he will make it into heaven, meaning he was judged worthy of getting into heaven despite his actions.

No, we've gone around on that too.

There is the element of repentance to consider. Everyone knows how to say "I'm sorry," not everyone who says it means it.

Just asking forgiveness is not some "Get out of sin free card" although there are plenty in the pews on Sunday who treat it as such. I'm sure they'll be mighty surprised. Scripture makes it very clear that not everyone who calls His name will be saved.

To disagree is not to deny.
To 1 YOUR WILL has been granted your own by FATHER. So to not be allowed to disagree seems to signify your will is not yours to OWN, and is then controlled...

In the example I gave the murderer and rapist is truly sorry, yet a person who helped everyone they could and was a truly good person their entire lives but did not believe in the sacrifice is sent to hell. Not because of his actions but because of his lack of faith.

Faith being dead without works is not true when you consider that rapist getting into heaven while the truly good person goes to hell. You're saying that rapist who had no good works was worthy on faith alone. You are implying James was not speaking the truth.

This is the mentality that fuels the motives of prosperity preachers.

Im pretty sure he'd have nice cup of tea or two, and talk about, with a story for an example and have people awed and wonder, and then to have heads roll.

I would like to hear his stance on pedophiles though, was that in Abominations? If not, get my time machine, and Morning Star Plus 5 ready. Ill crucify him myself like his Dad.

Love God with all of your thoughts, and love your neighbors like you love yourself.

You can pretty much be forgiven for anything ACCEPT blaspheming the Holy Spirit, specifically, attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to the Evil one.

A pretty light yoke indeed.

As long as you ask Jesus into heart at the time of death, you get to heaven.

Last time I checked, the aviation industry doesn't require any specific religious preference in order for you to speed across the sky in a crosshaped cherub, just a handful of dollars and a passport could come in handy.

This is why I don't want to discuss anything with you enlightened, you have no interest in the truth, just want to throw in cheap shots.
Christians don't suddenly wake up perfect, all loving and forgiving
The Holy Spirit works in them slowly, no miracles, it takes time

Forgiveness is not easy

The thief who had faith on the cross and rebuked the other thief was told he would be with Christ. So, yes, faith saves as does repentance.

What cheap shots? The one where I called you the antichrist and accused you of hating me?

Oh wait, that was you.

And yes, forgiveness is easy when you know how to do it. Jesus' yoke was easy and his burden light, he wouldn't have asked us to forgive others if it was hard.

Cheap shots like where you call people blasphemers and accuse others of whatever you like.

Never called you the antichrist, that's preposterous, you seem delusional

This above comment is a cheap shot, nothing even relating to trying to understand what I suggested, justifying why any comments are wasted on you.

You have a persecution complex that is causing you to attack everyone and everything.

Stop, think, listen, agree to disagree, its a sign of maturity

and to say forgiveness is easy and then to spray everyone with vile comments like you do, to accuse, snipe, belittle and degrade.
Forgiveness...Its so easy? You show us all how its done, act like you can do it for 1 week

If it was me who called you an antichrist, PROVE IT

You called windword antichrist, I never said you called me that. So you calling her an antichrist is you calling her a blasphemer which by your definition means you took a cheap shot at her.

You're the one who is getting angry that someone is challenging you, not me. You are projecting your own qualities on to me. I haven't attacked anyone, only you have. Look back on your own posts and you will see accusations being thrown everywhere. Stop projecting.
