Can't help laughing at what are very funny comments for my sense of humour but, were something said like some of those made about e.g. immigrants the wah! wah! group would be beating a path to this thread and wailing. I dare say Hawking himself who commented "Life would be funny if it weren't tragic" will also be laughing if he ever sees them.

Has anyone thought of biblical verses? I won't bother but perhaps someone out there has more knowledge on this?

I like were you are going with this. Tried to check if any special events are happening that day and noticed that at 4pm they are having a "New Security Paradigm for Internet of Threats" and a "Cybersecurity Education and Workforce Development for the Nation" events at the RSA Conference.

It just kinda stuck out to me for the irony if it was a date that some new cyber security protocols where to be put into place on some cryptic date foretold by some hacker pulling a prank.

I have to dismiss the idea of 11th month. too far away, people will forget about it

11th Jan already passed. So let try Feb 11th. although Feb is not listed as a number. If it is a date beyond several weeks no one will remember it anymore.

IF that is announcement of a date (be it my guess or yours, doesn't matter) of a very important event for humankind that cannot be announced to public in advance due to mass panic. They will use smart code from the smartest guy (let put it that way) to tell the smart people who will be the first ones to understand. If so, with the time rolling towards the big event, more sources and leaks will come. Finally it will be mass announced but no more than 2 weeks in advance (as insiders repeatedly point out, 3 weeks at max most likely only 2 weeks or less).

Is it good or bad? If Hawking is there I hope it is a good event. CERN is just an idea, it may have nothing to do with it Hawking doesn't work there. Theoretical Astrophysicist. Then expect an event that belongs to the theoretical astrophysics.

If this was legit it would have been noted on every news website in USA by now.
And...it hasn't been noted on any.
It's just a photoshopped prank.

Whether it is Feb 11 or 17 . It is a date. The people think of dates most of all. We can't decode atomic numbers. Time square shows a time a date.

I just don't know. I think Hawking to be shown on Time square with numbers that now the entire thinking class on internet will ponder about (regardless of BS trolls), is significant enough. It is very important. We may not be able to decode the entire number, but the message has been given.

I have a feeling this is a hoax. I agree that in a city of over 8 million people only a single person thinking this was worth mentioning is pretty weird.

That being said, the 11th month is, of course, November. In 2016, the 48th week of the year is November 28-December 4

If this is the case, it seems to be a mega doom at that time.

If it is a short range prediction, it might be not so apocalyptic. (because otherwise we'd have seen it coming already).
Jan 22, (11th + 11d), or Feb 11, or Feb 17 (48d) all are guesses that have logic in it.

It should also be a simple calculation, not something too elaborated. The answer should be achievable without special knowledge.
I always wonder how those numerologists make the desired numbers out of any given numbers.
