Shoe Fits

I journey through this life unheeded,
Got lost a few times along the way,
Learned from mistakes that I've seen and,
Used the knowledge to make it to the next day.

Traveled down some dangerous paths,
That could've kept me from my final goal,
I've cried, I've feared, I've loved, I've laughed,
I've skimmed the surface, I've searched my soul.

But I have lived! Experienced many things,
And no one has lived life quite like me.
Each one of us facing what life brings,
But choosing our paths so differently.

As a child we start out the same way,
Then we all make our first decision.
That's when our paths start to change,
And we began to practice individualism.

From there our roads may cross a bit,
As we make our choices individually.
But your shoes, for you, are a perfect fit,
And my shoes were specially made for me.

This is a Wonderful Tale You wrote,
about Yourself for Us to see.
I know it was about Your Life journey,
but parts of it also 'Fit' Me...

Especially where You mentioned,
of searching within Your Soul.
I too and I'm sure others have also,
took a dive into That Rabbit Hole!

Where that will take Us will,
Indeed make Us Who We will be.
It has choices for Us to make,
that in the end Others will see...

Our paths within Ourselves,
have all that We need to live.
Everything is in there including the Goodnees,
To Each Other that We Can Give...
