And the stupidity continues. Our fearless leader and his logical fallacies has no limits. He just keeps trying to equate terrorism to guns. Hey now people ignore the dozens of government agencies, and intelligence services we have. Ignore the legislation like the FISA Act,Omnibus CounterTerrrorism Act, or the Patriot Act. Why yes my fellow Americans Fighting lone wolf terror attacks is like trying to stop mass shootings. So I guess gun owners are now going to be spied on. Since A=B. He's still marching on with denying people on no fly lists their constituional right to keep and bear arms.

WHAT is he going to think of next to keep pushing his anti gun agenda?

President Obama on Friday drew a parallel between the challenges authorities face when looking to prevent lone-wolf terrorist attacks and the effort to prevent mass shootings.

"It's not that different from us trying to detect the next mass shooter," Obama said of detecting lone-wolf plots, during his wide-ranging year-end press conference at the White House

How much more FASCIST does our overlord want to be ?

Good Grief.

'Not' that different!

Whats the difference between a lone wolf terrorist attack and a mass shooter ?

Both are hate filled maniacs out to commit mass murder.
Be it for Allah, jesus or a beta uprising they are the same.

The difference is gun owners have to submit to a background check and get permission to buy a firearm.

And it doesn't ask, 'Are you a terrorist hell bent on going, and shooting up a bunch of people because Allah told you to'.

I have no idea if that actually works, so if it is a fake, please moderators remove it.
I can not actually use it because I am English.

Thats not what I asked. Im not talking about your gun rights here.

My question was how does Obama differentiate between a terrorist and a mass shooter because were Im sitting they are both the same.

He doesn't. Hence the false equivalence.

They are two entirely different things.

There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.

Clearly you are now enemy #1, and anti-American, and added to the domestic terrorist watch list, and a baby and kitten killer, and a racist, and a somethingophobe, and intolerant of something..somewhere.

Just give the government your guns, resistance is futile......

Does this include the "lone wolf" boys in blue? (off-topic)

I'm not sure if anyone caught it during the republican debate, but the lines are being blurred between "un-American" and "terrorist" rather quickly. The immigrant movement is a topic of contention that has continued to help erode our freedoms. The whole gun control debate is either born from or in response to things that don't really stem from our own society, but instead from trying to make oil and water mix.

youtu.be...

There’s a disturbing photo making the rounds on social media that shows two men, one dressed in a Muslim religious outfit, loading a suspicious number of propane tanks into a truck in Florida.

The Muslims were seen loading around 30 propane tanks onto the back of their pickup truck at a Home Depot store in Miami.
FBI is investigating bulk purchases of cellphones by Muslim men at Wal-Mart stores. These are notoriously used by the jihads as detonating devices for bombs as well as a means of untraceable communication.
Cellphones and propane tanks go hand in hand. Bombs made from these tanks can be scattered throughout the country and detonated from anywhere
The question has already arisen – if they were preparing for an attack, why would they be so obvious in doing so?
There is a clear answer for that, which we can thank the left for.
Potential attackers are brazen and empowered by political correctness.
This is why San Bernardino attackers could plot away in suburbia and their neighbors knew it was weird, but didn’t report it out of fear that they would be labeled as a “profiling” bigot.

what he said is how do you tell when someone decides to go crazy? you can't.

he didn't say mass shootings and terrorism are the same, which isn't suck a far-fetched statement considering a terrorist can use guns to do a mass shooting.

think then type. leave your irrational hatred out of it.

They don't have to go through a check list to decide and go and create violence...

He isn't saying that they are one in the same, that is your pointless strawman.

Just that this idea of just stopping them isn't a simple answer, just like we can't just stop mass shooters.

They should NOT be used in the same sentence.

That's the straw man.

So Obama makes a simple comparison of the difficulties both tasks entail, and that means he's pushing his anti-gun agenda?

Ok.

We all know how this thread will go.

That is your opinion, but he isn't saying they are on in the same...
So sorry you don't like the context but the reality is it is a fair comparison.
Both lone wolf terrorist attacks and mass shootings are hard to prevent.

Sorry he isn't following the way you think he should speak and saying the wrong things.
How very un PC of him!

Nope just using his parties mantra of 'past behavior is indicative of future behavior'.

If terrorism equals mass shootings.

He would be calling for Muslim Control Just like he is calling for Gun Control.

Hence they are NOT the same.

He is using terrorism to push gun control.
