As a vet I have.

Its the time that we are in. Terror threat is real. ISIS is real. Something needs to be done about it. Is Bernie Sanders the man to do it? I don't think he is.

If ISIS and the threat of terror wasn't around, I think Sanders would be a great choice. But voters need to take into consideration of what is going on in the world today and if the candidate can swim those waters or not.

A vote for Sanders is like a vote for MSM nutters...
Bernie pushes global warming and he is backed by MSM unions.... he would be Obama 2.0
if I had to choose between the two it would be Trump.

I agree with you there, rand Paul seems like a genuine guy, doesn't prey on people's fear and seems sane.

The problem with Paul is that he can't even give an opening statement without subliminally insulting Trump within the first 5 words.

Don't let the "left leaning-socialist" labels fool you. He is nothing like Obama and I think even more of an outsider than Trump. Why can't we have someone like Rand Paul on the right side though?

Sanders. The Trump count, even at a losing number, is saddening.

So if the general population where as we are at ATS, we'd get either Sanders or Trump. No Hillary or Bush in site. There is hope for us.

Of course one test for candidates is...would you invite them over to your house to watch football if they were your neighbor?

Who would I invite...Sanders, Carson, Rubio. May not like their politics but they aren't jerks...wouldn't be bad neighbors.
Who would not get an invite...cause they're jerks...cruz, Trump, Hillary, Huckabee...Of those Trump would be the guy most likely to say hi to me every morning as he got into his car...LOL But I'm not grilling burgers with him.
