San Bernardino Shooter May Have Plotted Attack in 2012

Farook may have plotted an attack years earlier with another individual. So maybe it wasn't his wife that radicalized him and he had simply been dormant until the right time to attack.

Comforting, isn't it? These people worked with him for years. He was quiet and reserved, no hint of extremism. They even threw him a baby shower for their new born.

But apparently he had been plotting to kill for years. According to the article, their disgusting plot in 2012 didn't come to fruition since there are crackdowns on terror related individuals at the time.

This wasn't just a husband and wife team. They had connections to other Muslims who were capable and willing to carry out similar attacks and those individuals are still walking among the public. Remember the 3Rd shooter that was ignored? Or the neighbor that stated there were multiple Muslims going in and out of Farooks home and they found it suspicious?

Extremism among Muslims in America is not a rarity, it is a plague. Even with the peaceful Muslims, they are still part of a religion that promotes violence to extend Islam and Sharia law.

SAN BERNARDINO — Investigators believe San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook may have been plotting an earlier attack in California with someone else, two U.S. officials said.

One of the officials said the two conspired in 2012 and a specific target was considered. Neither of the officials could say how serious the plotting got.

One official said the two decided not to go through with the earlier attack after a round of terror-related arrests in the area.

“They got spooked,” the official said.

The purported plot bolsters assertions law enforcement officials have made since the San Bernardino attacks, saying Farook had been radicalized for a time before the shooting.

With the amount of materiel that was found, there appeared to have been subsequent targets as well.

This was a sleeper cell, no doubt about it.

Wonder how many others there are out there and when they'll activate?

Jihad could have been a lifelong plan.

It might be the reason his Paki Parents infiltrated the US to begin with.

Why would over 200,000 devout Muslims leave the Islamic paradise of Pakistan to live in the evil US in the past 15 years?

Not to disrespect any victim, but 14 bodies seems low for 2 AR shooters in a big hall with lots of people. Trained operators might choose to employ wider ranging selective fire targets, maybe from a distance....move on...do it again.

This seems odd, and does play into the workplace story to a degree. Surely 5-10x the body count could be achieved, considering the fake IED ordinance....if these two (or three) were super-islamo-freak-a-zoids....not wanna-bes.

Odd too, a nice civil servant job, in California...is this not the American dream?

Maybe these poor fools, useful idiots, are really pussies who are afraid of a real battlefield in their Land of Islam...where they belong. Attacking a soft target really impresses noone except the extreme psychos....think about it.

I believe the numbers released by the FBI was they shot 76 rounds. 35 our of 76 in a dynamic environment actually demonstrates a deliberate and calculated effort. I can't imagine the hate that could make that possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's plenty of people out there ready or that have thought about extremism and the increasing rhetoric and propoganda tools will only set off more of these types in the future...

I don't think putting numbers on it does dignified justice to the question.

Look at the caliber of fighter to guide your response.

actually 76/35=2.17 if they were firing two shots (double tap shooting technique) for each person, very efficient shooting.

Apart from the claims, where is the evidence?? what did they release as evidence.

The news that they were both found in the back of the vehicle in hand cuffs is getting out and even sleepy people are asking how they could have driven the vehicle if they were handcuffed and behind the back seat.

Even sleepy people must have heard by now that its possible to remotely hijack a car and drive it, by now.

sounds like another attempt to stitch the FF back together.

OR, down home grown retaliation; as we've discussed in the past; remember the days/weeks after 911, we had many many calls of "man down"... there was a group of right wing red-necks that just hunted down ME looking people and basically played the knock-out game....

I am sure that this type of mentality will resurface as the "attacks" continue. ..
