I would think that most of the first immigrants identified with their home country or religion more than The US..like the Irish, the Germans, Catholics, Prodestants, etc.

Trump if elected will destroy us, possibly the whole world. I stand as a loud voice against Islamic extremism, however and the truth is; we must be vigilant and repel ALL forms of far-right extremism in ANY place it rises.

Far-right is indicated by his gestapo jack-booted solutions, he has taken the image of a conservative and completely turned it into archetypical extremism and moronic ideas, he insults people even handicapped people, women the list goes on and on. As for the other: Yes. And I don't want any more of it. I don't want anyone who wants us dead or try to ruin us either God knows I don't. But I don't want us to turn into 'them'. We've damaged that region repeatedly trying to force 'democracy" on them, and they have proven time and time again they don't want it, can't handle it, aren't ready for it.

I don't presume to have the answers, but I do know it's not Donald Trump.

It's nice to think he is putting on a show. That he will never be elected. That he is proving a point. Or that he is even doing this to set up a Clinton win. That he will never do these things.

It is dangerous to come to the point where you say you KNOW that. There are a lot of people already at that point and they laugh. It would be funny until the day he actually gets elected.
