Why do people support Hillary and Trump?

Seriously why do people support candidates like these?
Trump is talking about "building a wall" between the United States and Mexico. What? His foreign policy is a joke. He's talking about stealing another countries resources(iraq).

Hillary and the benghazi thing and then the illegal classified information in her private email server. She seems like a straight up criminal like her husband.

They are awful.

What do people see in these grinning psychopaths?

I cannot see the appeal of Hillary, but I can UNDERSTAND why Trump is popular. He has people convinced that he is a straight shooter; that he says what he believes - and he really can be entertaining to watch.

Also I think that a selling point for Trump is that he is not the rest of the candidates..and anyone that is not is guaranteed to have some support just for that.

Oh man thats the million dollar question, why do people of all culture keep on electing criminals to run there country, is baffling to say the least.

I do not support either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. I do believe Hillary is guilty of several felonys, including conspiracy to commit murder (Vince Foster) and I think Donald is just a sad, B rated entertainer.

I truly think we are lacking a serious, and viable candidate for President. I long for the days of Carter and Reagan.

They support Trump, because he's not Hillary. They support Hillary, because it's not Trump...It's not rocket sience.

The people with real brains and ability to properly run the country are all nicely ensconced in private industry where they can make a ton of money without having a target on their back.

Personally, I think that anybody who wants to be President is a borderline psychotic and probably should be kept away from normal people. Select a Triumvirate randomly from the voting population. Yeah, you might get some bad ones, but the odds are just as good that you'll get a normal, average person with some common sense, and with the added benefit of them not owing big business or campaign contributors any political favors.

Honestly, I don't see anything.

I don't even see anything in Hillary, and I consider myself an ardent supporter of the Democrats. Therefore, there's also no way in hell I'll ever support Trump.

2016's candidates are absolutely underwhelming. I swear, if a banana entered the race they'd have even more appeal than both of them COMBINED!

(And ... yes ... I didn't miss the pun I made in the last sentence. "Appeal = A-PEEL". God I need a life)

Rubio was at least "vetted" and by "law" could run. I personally, never heard of BO until he was the Scocialist "front runner". At least Trump, has a history in this, MY country.
