China is not going to get involved, and @AsenY2K, yes they do have an aircraft carrier.
.
A very old and out dated one which they are still training and developing doctrine for.
If anything its only a training ships while they build the ones currently under construction.

The laoling is not a casino. That was the lie China used to buy the carrier. It was commissioned in 2012.

The West want Assad brought down so , so badly and Russia will not let that happen. Both sides know this and everything else is just a by product of a messy situation. This game of Bluff is going to spiral out of control very quickly if the West continue to expect to jump in to any Country they wish and change their regimes.
I'm really sick of Western Countries and Puppet nations on MSM trying to justify their War on Syria. It's not a war on ISIS at all its just a war on SYRIA!
Russia would never do that of course, oh dear me no, just ask the people of Chechnya, Georgia or Ukraine to name but 3.
Aside from ISIS' 'caliph' Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Georgian ex-commando Omar al-Shishani might be the most recognizable and popular of the powerful militant group's leaders.
“He was a perfect soldier from his first days, and everyone knew he was a star,” an unnamed former comrade who is still active in the Georgian military told McClatchy DC. “We were well trained by American special forces units, and he was the star pupil.”
“We trained him well, and we had lots of help from America,” another anonymous Georgian defense official told McClatchy about Shishani. “In fact, the only reason he didn’t go to Iraq to fight alongside America was that we needed his skills here in Georgia.”

All those hopeing for a NATO/Russia war are playing into the hands of ISIS.
Thats exactly what those vermin want, for us to fight each other.
Right now some Jihadi is likely fapping off to this thread....

I'v said this before and i'l say it again, you give ISIS too much credit.
To think they are working a geo-politic angle is absurd.
we aren't fighting a nation, we are fighting splinter groups fighting under the same banner.
Even Al-Q had a better endgame then ISIS. They had a playbook.
ISIS stops at killing none-muslims and they even fail at that.

Oh well even Thailand has one aircraft carrier. Look this BRICS people talk about are still regional players except for the ex super power, i.e Russia. They will all stay that way for some time into the future.
At least 12 air strikes hit Syria’s Latakia provence as pro-government forces clashed with fighters from al Qaeda’s Nusra Front and Turkmen insurgents, the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. A Turkmen commander said missiles fired from Russian warships in the Mediterranean were also hitting the area, as well as heavy artillery shelling. (news agencies)
