Ummm...I wrote this poem this morning...then a neighbors tree fell onto my power line...I was running around with a flashlight and a fire extinguisher
trying to find out where that electrical burning smell was coming from...It broke the neutral leg of the incoming wire and created a low power
brownout...that fried my flat screen TV...it also fried some surge protectors...
Too little power does not trip breakers...but can start fires....
I'm glad I was home...otherwise the house would have caught fire and my dogs would all be dead...
Bramble flails
I love simplistic thinking where
uncomplication does not care
Unfettered freedom we might share
the ties that unbind our despair
The dross that fell that sloughed away
This relaxed feel that calms my day
No thoughts considered claim could stay
I watched them fall I saw them lay
Pick not the flowers from that field
whose bramble flails those flowers wield
Nor claim those thorns that they’ve unsealed
Walk on walk past what they’ve revealed
To be that simple kind of man
who see’s the purpose in the plan
I would be humble if I can
Come follow where my thought steps ran
Thought steps...
