Heh, I'm probably one of the few Canadians living here that was never much of a Rush fan.

My musical tastes back in those days tended to be more on the "heavier" side (Zepplin, Hendrix, Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc)... Rush was a little too 'bubblegum rock' for me.

You will have to have lived in the early 70s to get this one.

So what qualifies as classic rock? To me it's the stuff from 60's-70's, which was classic when I was growing up, but nowadays my local classic rock station wants to make me feel old, so they play G'n'R, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden etc... anything up to about 1997 it seems.
