As the title reads Islam is the religion of genocide from its very beginnings and still continuing today.

When atrocities are done and continue to be done by Islam and people speak out about it the Islamic apologists turn up and try and brand people as bigoted and xenophobic etc and I have heard over and over about peoples disgust and attacks toward Christianity, by saying "crusades" "Spanish inquisitions" "KKK" etc.

Islam is responsible for the massive amounts of slaughter of anyone of any culture or belief, even of their own belief since its beginning, starting from Mohammad to present day that begs belief.

As its impossible to know the exact numbers, all are rough estimates from different authors.

120 million Africains

Thomas Sowell estimates that 11 million slaves were shipped across the Atlantic and 14 million were sent to the Islamic nations of North Africa and the Middle East.

For every slave captured many others died.

Estimates of this collateral damage vary. The renowned missionary David Livingstone estimated that for every slave who reached a plantation, five others were killed in the initial raid or died of illness and privation on the forced march.

Those who were left behind were the very young, the weak, the sick and the old. These soon died since the main providers had been killed or enslaved.

So, for 25 million slaves delivered to the market, we have an estimated death of about 120 million people. Islam ran the wholesale slave trade in Africa.

A rough estimate by Raphael Moore in History of Asia Minor is that another 50 million died in wars by jihad.

10 million Buddhists

Buddhists do not keep up with the history of war. Keep in mind that in jihad only Christians and Jews were allowed to survive as dhimmis (servants to Islam); everyone else had to convert or die.

I`m not a historian but with all the accusations etc I thought I`d look into it a bit more.

So the figure is Muslims have massacred 590 million non-Muslims since 622AD

And counting.

This doesn`t even include Muslims killing Muslims.

Maybe religicide would be more appropriate.

But yes, the conquests of India were absolutely brutal by comparison to how they went in Africa. The only real difference was the religion of the natives.

Just think if all these people had not been killed. We would be up to our eyeballs in people by now.

Of course, you would never find anything even approching such a thing be done by those who are discussed in the Bible.

No! Wait! It does seem I recall something about someone being told to go into a city, or was it several cities, and kill everyting that lived there; men, women, childern, oxen, and donkeys.
I guess that was alright though; they were, after all, only invading lands they were given by someone's visions.

You might a smart person but it seems you don't understated how a concept, a belief or an inanimate object play no part on what a person does with their own free will, its the person that does the act that is responsible for their actions.

Religion is a form of division. Division leads to conflict.
Religion needs to go.

Given the current circumstances I understand how you feel.

I wonder how many Athiests killed non-Athiests? Would Mongolia fit into that category?

I wonder if we could add up all the murders in history and categorize them by religious ideology and determine a percentage of death to each, how we can use that data to determine nothing.

This is the best thread on this subject I have seen in a long time, your opening statements are well researched and backed up by factualy estimates, and remember the lower estimate is usually the one the public receive and that authors put out which of course means the true figure could well be in excess of the one billion mark over that time period.

Of course don't forget the Muslim slave trade that raided southern and eastern Europe throughout much of this period, estimates are that as many as two too three million Europeans were also taken with a comparably death rate.

The number of Buddhists murdered probably also exceeds ten million as entire kingdoms were wiped out by the muslims though Ghenghis and his army's also helped there and for a short time then actually turned the tide against Islam driving the muslims back to Arabia or conquering them, indeed Modern Iraq was once full of ancient (Pre Islamic) irrigation canals that they Mongols smashed, the Muslims lacking the engineering skill of the people they had murdered and taken that land from never repaired these canals and so the once fertile irrigated lands became the desert we see today when we see Iraq.

It was the death of Temugen (Ghengis Khan) that allowed the Muslims to take back that land as the older and more experience mongol warriors rode north to attend his funeral leaving only inexperienced younger warriors behind, an army of Egyptian horsemen then came and drove the mongols from Mesopotamia.

Ghengis though was only a small interlude in the war waged by Islam and I do agree Islam as the ideology behind these atrocitys is fundamental to that religion (Hence Fundementalists) has waged against all people of every other religion.

At it's birth Islam butchered and forced to convert entire Arabian nation's and there numbers must be in the hundred's of thousands, indeed the Kaaba in Mecca used to be a pagan temple filled with religious idols of there now forgotten and eradicated ancient religion's (which may have been related to Hinduism but using local names for there Gods).

Unlike a true prophet Muhammad also had to go back on his own word on several occasions such as when he told the Meccans when he first re entered that city from which he was exiled for his previous crimes and took there central temple the Kaaba that the idols that were then within it were the high flying cranes and could intercede for them with Allah, later he had to retract on this as he had created too much of a contradiction in his message to his followers and many of them had started to grumble and even question his authenticity.

I think that we error when we point the finger at a group that may have been manipulated to carry out these acts . A simple view of history always has it's faces and possible motives that lurk ,and hide but there are benefits to some people weather monetary or just simple political reasons that this stuff goes down . We find this kind of spirit even working in our own families and small communities that divide us .

Paris for instance could have been a false flag in order to solve a political crises where the present Govt is loosing to a more Nationalist one waiting in the wings to promise to deal with the influx of refugees .Some politicians want to hang onto power and are willing to do this kind of thing and can usually find the people (dupes) to do the dirty work .

It was the European Colonial powers that have ,and probably still do these kinds of things but they are not the only ones .. Following the money is not always the only way to the answers ....Attaching a religious name to genocide and slavery only points to a collective that were willing to go along with the promise made to them . Think Afghanistan and what Zbigniew Brzezinski promised the Taliban .

I thought I made it clear enough in my comments as to the reason why I posted it. Just shedding light on the subject researched by many others.

Christianity/Christian are supposed to live a life tell the gospel by the example and words of Christ who had no sin, shed no blood other than his own for everyone, that all might be saved by believing in Him and will be seen by their fruits. Pretty easy to see when someone isn`t being Christian. Also pretty hard to be spotless (impossible on our own)

Islam/Muslim follow Mohamad words and example of his life and teachings, who was a war mongering barbarian to say the least and is seen by its fruits.

Then we have these others the most vocal and loudest group condemning all religion, as if having a non belief isn`t a cause of countless deaths and hate crimes that ravage our societies today or in the past.

All of these things are spoken about in the Bible and are said to happen from 2000 plus years ago, it doesn`t end well for vast majority Christians included.

So I only know of one solution which I described above.

As far as governments we as citizens like to believe we can make a difference to all of this or world affairs, but most are manipulated into doing the evil worlds elites bidding, Take America for example was sold into slavery by debt interest on every American dollar, which now is 18-19 trillion in debt ( real time debt clock and is the reason why we have puppet leaders doing others bidding because they are owned, shaping the world and introducing the next level of social engineering. The illuminati`s seal is even on the American dollar.

Its going to get a lot worse than this guaranteed.
