I'm just in, Sky news is confirming at least 18 dead, a hostage situation going on and multiple coordinated bombings.

Things are about to get very bad.


Edit to confirm, french police are saying 26+ dead, multiple bombings and hostages are being held at Bataclan concert hall....Paris is under lockdown

Condolences, of course, to the victims. That being said, either French authorities didn't implement enough stringent precautions after the Charlie Hebdo shootings, or the perps are just really brazen. 26 dead now. But no surprise something like this has happened there. I'm not going to open the whole immigrant in Europe issue can of worms, but unfortunately this is the first thing that popped in my head.

If there's another cell lurking somewhere nearby, and they let out that stadium, I don't want to even think about what could happen given that they're using grenades and automatic weapons.

I'm really hoping they do their best to keep the crowds in that stadium safe.
