Senate Unveiling a Cheney Statue: Jesse Ventura Is Bringing His Sledgehammer

The U.S. Senate has a time-honored tradition of erecting statues of Vice Presidents in Emancipation Hall of the Capitol. And Dick Cheney's day has come to be forever memorialized in stone. I am not in favor of the Senate's decision, and I've got my own plans for the statue. What would you do to Cheney's statue?

Look at it. Learn from it. Attempt to use those lessons to make better decisions in the future.

Nothing nearly as well thought out as destroying it.

What are you talking about? The only shooting involving him "personally" is when the dumb ass shot a so called friend (who later denied being friends with Cheney] in the face while hunting. I still think there was something funny about that whole thing,and they shut it up pretty fast and didn't want to talk about it anymore.

Smash the statue to smithereens, (whatever they are) sign the debris with a flourish, then return to the day of the unveiling...brilliant!

To capture Cheney's real persona, the statue should look similar to this...

All available Americans should go to the unveiling with tomatoes & eggs & show their appreciation for the cheney.

This isn't for specifically for Cheney if I am understanding this correctly, but a historical tribute that is standard practice for all Vice-Presidents. I think we have more important things to worry about.
