I came across this video on social media and it seems to have created a bit of a stir. Thought I'd bring it here to see what the ATS community thinks.

But who believes we were descended from apes? It's not what Anthropologists believe, it's not what the data says and it's not what the DNA says. We share common ancestry with the other apes but we did not descend from them.

I think it could be considered to be a bit racist!
As the frames progress to modern man..... the skin lightens.

Note: I am not bitching and moaning, just saying that I noticed that.

Thats new to me .. first time I learn we will evolve back into apes..

But seriously... All we need is the missing link. The fact that we haven't found it doesn't mean it isn't there somewhere burried in the soil of Africa....or somewhere else.

Well, there is me at about three hundred thousand years ago. I wanna go back to where I belong. I want to take some guns and a semiload of ammo with me though. The hunting would probably be decent back then.

No such thing as the missing link, it is a saying creationists use to attempt to disprove the actual facts.

If we play this vid in reverse, it will show evolution in America....

Evolution does not say we are descended from apes. Rather, apes and humans are both descended from other species of primates that are common ancestors to both humans and apes -- ancestor(s) that no longer exists.

Besides, going back to a time before primates, we are also descended from shrew-like creatures, sloth-like creatures and (going further back) fish-like creatures and (going even further back) single-celled organisms.

We (and every other living thing on Earth) come from something like slime mold.
