It's because guns are the easiest, but every weapon has the same effect.

This shooter had the same casual demeanor seen in other incidents of this type. Signs of the MK-Ultra patsy?
The gunman... appeared to "not [be] in any rush," said Matt Abshire.
"He's walking in the street. Two guns, walking calmly, like walking [a] dog. Not worried, not scared -- nothing," Abshire continued. ...
Naomi Bettis, a neighbor of the suspect, said she saw the gunman holding a rifle and revolver before the shooting. But the gunman didn't appear angry, Bettis said. "He just looked like he was somebody that was going to be on a mission," said Bettis...

Or he was just a freaking nut job.

Seriously, in your eyes literally every time some one gets media attention for shooting some one it is a MK Ultra conspiracy.
You do realize that is like the boy crying wolf right? If you do it every single time then when it actually is one, no one is going to care to listen.

For those who have eyes to see, there is a certain pattern that can be discerned:

6-7-13 Santa Monica Community College, CA John Samir Zawahri, 23
The gunman was "very calm, ....looking around for targets very casually" "He just looked like he was standing there posing for the cover of an ammo magazine or something. It was bizarre."

11-1-13 LAX shooting Paul Anthony Ciancia, 23
"Passenger Rodrigo Jara described the shooter he saw .... “walking like he was going to buy tea.” "

12-13-13 Arapahoe High School, CO Karl Pierson, 18
"Tait Priser... heard a gunshot and saw Pierson... "He wasn't running, he wasn't yelling. He was calmly walking. It just seemed like it was an everyday occurrence for him." "

6-4-14 Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada shooting rampage, Justin Bourque, 24
"He just had the most blank look on his face, like he was on a mission, ready to do something"
"...he had this really dead look on his face. ... He was on a mission, you could tell."

6-10-14 Reynolds High School, Troutdale, OR Jared Padgett, 15
"Trichos said he tried to speak to Padgett "He wouldn't answer me. He just kept walking slowly," he said. "He had a blank face; it was like he was on a mission." "

Is there some rule that says you can only have a Manchurian Candidate every once in a while? No. The truth is that there are hundreds of them out there, just waiting to be triggered. Decades ago, Charlie laid it down for all to see:

"You say there are just a few? There are many, many more, coming in the same direction. They are running in the streets-and they are coming right at you!"

Gunman identified as Noah Harpham, 33.

The victims are Andrew Alan Myers, 35; Jennifer Michelle Vasquez, 42; and Christina Rose Baccus-Gallela, 34.

Motive remains a mystery. Two days before the shooting, he posted a short video of himself, though this had nothing to do with the attack.

See it here:

However, it was later revealed that no body cameras or dash cameras were working at the time of the shootout with Harpham on Saturday.

(Must be a coincidence.)

...This shooting has the attention of the country this week. It is the latest shooting in recent weeks that has caused people to speak out for new gun legislation in this country. Chris Bowman, the uncle of one of the victims, even called for better gun laws in order to stop senseless and needless shootings like the one in Colorado.

(Ahhh... the real motive!)
