Its sort of like how 8 yrs of BUSH, at that point Obama seemed like saviour, heck anyone would.

Same thing happening here, 10 yrs Conservatives, unemployment still the same, supposed to "helping the rich will trickle down to us middle class" where the hell is the trickle down???, all it happened was rich got a huge break and all the jobs got sent out, harper sold out all the resources..

Heck, actually if Trudeau does a decent job i would be surprised and happy.

Sorry about my display of ignorance, I have hardly any knowledge of Canadian politics. Just wanted to know in simplest possible terms, is the new party in power leftish, rightist, central, central left/right?

Another plus! Canadian Army now can detach itself from aggressive US forces and go back to peacekeeping instead of active war for someone else's(US) mess.

Its funny how under Harper the Canadian army was just an extension of US.

Liberal (winners): Tad left to centre.
Conservatives: Tad right to centre.
NDP: further left than Liberals.
Green Party: Left

Unlike US, the Canadian parties are not at both ends. They have many similar goals(slight variation, like Military, Tax, etc).

Bush in, Bush out, Clinton in, Clinton out, Bush in, Bush out and now we have that [snipped] Hilary to complete the cycle. Canadians are slightly more civilized but equally as stupid as we are.

Gotta love propaganda. It works.

One funny thing about 'das Fuhrer Harper' is that he was a much more vocal proponent of the policy of Israel and US than the legitimate premier of these respective countries... That's why I called him "das agent"...

I've noticed that. I thought it rather hilarious personally. He was more of an Israeli PM, then Netanyahu is.

Omg he he was young and dumb once?!

Yeah who could imagine such a thing.

Because he did waste part of his 20s stoned high snowboarding, hanging out with a known dope dealer.

Anyone got a link I can read up on about this?

Looks like Canada has gotten their very first Generation X Prime Minister. Lets hope makes Canadians proud and doesn't bugger it up like the past PM'S.

He and his party was very arrogant and intransigeant in the Parliament with respect to opposition. He know very well that now being in the opposition, he would face an humiliating situation, such a coward...
