Alien hunters and their conspiracy theorist counterparts believe they’ve found the latest evidence of life on Mars.
In a somewhat imaginative declaration, some believe they have spotted a buddha statue on the red planet. According to Scott C. Waring writing for ufosightingsdaily.com, the statue of a “stunning Martian god” proves that intelligent life once existed on Mars.

“This photo alone should be enough to convince the United Nations that intelligent life once existed on Mars, but NASA doesn’t want anyone to know the truth, because they will be asked to share the info and technology that they have found,” he wrote.

I hope this ends up being real. I have no doubt that life existed on Mars.

I wish our governments would just admit extraterrestrial life exists.

Rock formations are real.

When I zoom in on the picture I van see it, it is vaguely statuesque. But until I see a close up its a rock formation, as much as I would prefer otherwise lol

I wish it were but alas, just rocks.

Unfortunately, you and I do not know that for sure. Remember those poor individuals in Pompeii who were "frozen" in time when the pyroclastic cloud/flow swept over them? Could be something similar. But then again we both DON'T know. I just posted this because it was light and interesting.

These look pretty nice.

I just see rocks -- rocks that someone looked at and concluded otherwise. If that were a statue of Buddha on Mars, why are there NO other ruins, temples, platforms, etc. next to it? Literally NOTHING ELSE NEXT to it. Nothing PRESERVED next to it that would accompany the worship of said "god." That is just a rock, and someone's imagination running wild...

You know? I love you guys that look at lowres images from thousands of miles away, and proclaim "It's just rocks", like it is more factual than "it's reptilians"!

I really do. It makes me smile.

I wonder what the ATS from another planet far away will say about earth when they first gaze upon this dried up rocky planet we currently call home, millenia from now.
