Text Is Not Suppliied for Off Topic Post Removed

When a moderator removes a member's post for off-topic, and the U2U is sent to the offending member for the violation, the link to the offending post is of no use, because the offensive text is removed already!

What is the rationale for that?? (Rhetorical question.)

Honestly, what do staff of ATS take us for?

This is a request to link members in U2U's from moderators to something that is a apropos, as in, the original post that you're slapping on us on the hand for.

I don't want the mods doing a bunch of extra work, and I know if you ask they'll tell you what you did wrong, but it would be nice if a little blurb or even copy paste of the offending post was included in the U2U. I typically remember what I did wrong but sometimes I just have no idea. Mods have been awesome about telling me though, and quickly at that.

Think it is on you to remember what you said.

I know I can usually recall what I said when it gets removed.

And ya what Domo said, the few times I couldn't remember I asked and I received an explanation.

My position is that most likely if the will were there, the link provided by the system (not the moderator, who is a volunteer, but, rather ATS), my request could be easily accommodated.

I said someone was allowing Sweeney Todd to give them a shave the other day, in analogous form to exemplify their over trusting nature of corporations...


I was hit with a serious terms and conditions violation.


No idea why.


But I don't mention Sweeney Todd anymore.

You have several options to remedy what ails you....

Option 1 : Contact the staff member who removed the post.

Option 2 : Use the complaint/alert feature.

Option 3 : Compose your posts in a word document FFR

Option 4 : Use the official thread provided for such querries/suggestions
