Imo, the main criteria for a good film is if you can care about the characters being portrayed and if the actors can pull that off.
The characters in Sicario draw you into their world, their feeling about being in that world and leave you there even when you walk out of the theater. Emely Blunt was fantastic as were all the principals. Incredible contemporary, natural script by first timer Taylor Sheridan, with out being corny and over the top. Wonderful direction by Denis Villeneuve.
Grity and ultra real cinematrogaphy, perfect sound trac, and partially shot in my back yard. Tamalewood, Albuquerque NM.
I had a small role in the shoot out at the border. A scene that lasted 3 min. that took 4 days to shoot.

Was a really well made film with a lot of tension and good actors. Liked the Medellin twist too, pretty realistic I would imagine.

Looks cool. I might watch it and play "spot Olaru12"lol. It's like Where's Waldo for movies.

I loved it man, totally gripping from start to finish and great performances from all involved really.
Definitely worth seeing at the cinema.

Might by favourite so far this year I've seen at the cinema.

ETA: Forgot to look out for you dude, I'll have to pause it when the DL drops soon.
