I will be spending a few days with family in the great state of confusion, while in Maine. It's a place my parents have been vacationing for years
and they keep going back, so I had to find out why. Just figured I see if anyone from the area had any ideas of things that I have to see while
there.
It's pretty cool. Quaint. Went out in a boat looking for whales, saw otters. Ate on the lawn of some old-school resort - the lobster was horible
though.
But do get to Acadia National Park. Honestly one of the most breath-taking places in the world.
Maine is across the Bay from my province. It's interesting. Don't try to do the accent. Everyone hates that. Just saying you're in Baa Haabaa makes
little sense elsewhere.
We used to live in Bangor and would hang out there on weekends -
it's 'wicked good' as they say..
Acadia National Park is amazing ..!
Also check out Bar Island.. Just off the shore - its only accessible at low tide.. very nice. -Enjoy!
