Not only the west but all of our western allies. we do think alike and have the hearts and minds that live to protect and defend, not create hell on earth for human beings, animals and ecology. They seem so caught up in these heinous acts against humanity all in the name of religious freedoms, that it is beyond twisted and going to be the reason man gets taken out of this equation sooner than later. Hell they all go to a better place filled with virgins and so do not care about the hell on earth they create getting there.

You are moving the goal posts,America is not a mad max world and has not degraded into one. If, ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a marry Christmas

How did we gain that wealth? What are the root causes? I disagree that wealth is the only thing keeping America strong and trading civilly, we as a society appreciate difference of opinions and instead of killing eachother we negotiate.

There is a reason we do not dismantle into sectarian violence. It is because the west has built its freedoms upon the blood of our ancestors, these freedom and values have been forged out of wars and evils; that the Middle East is still going through.

It's good to believe that live has an equal value morally across the board as it truly does, we all share the infrastructure and society that past humanity gave to us.(so in that way life starts off equal because we are arbitrarily placed without choice) however cultures are not equal, and individuals make up those cultures. Do you understand what I am saying?

There is a lot of stuff that goes on in the middleeast that is hidden unless you know where to look. You have to realize a lot of those rich men have rooms full of underage this or other crazy sex things they do with other women that are of age. It's called being a Port-a-Potty. Funny our country wasnt made from refugees. We were already here and not running from england due to war in europe. Israel was made from refugees though(except for th eones already living there so its not totally accurate either) The Syrians are cowards fleeing their home country because unlike the colonial americans didnt have the guts to fight for their lives and freedom.

Someone missed US History in grade-school?

From it's colonists to it's earliest immigrants...from the revolutionaries to German and Irish migrants etc. etc.

We are a country almost entirely composed of refugees from around the world. Fleeing war, fleeing economic crisis, fleeing religious persecution.

Also..little known fact...Before the American Revolution, America was Britain's prison colony. They exported over 50K Convicts to the American Colonies in the 1700's (about 10% of the incoming colonists). After the revolution, they sent them to Australia

Virtually all Americans descend from folks who were either Fleeing war, oppression or persecution or were kicked out of other countries.

As for me? I love it. We were a collection of convicts, refugees and people that no other country wanted...and in less than 200 years we became the most powerful nation on the globe.

The "melting pot" has always been our secret strength...That is why I have no patience for ignorant and intolerant bigots and racists...that mentality is disease to the very nature of America's greatness.

According to what ive read it was only "georgia" that was the penal colony,and not the entire country. Sooo that does not mean it was the case for all of th ecolonies now does it?

Also since the freedom to worship was one reason they left(relgious regugee) is not a real refugee in my eyes. A refugee in my eyes is running away from war. No tbecause they had to worship in private. ALso Since they were supossedly running from the King.....why would they allow the king to choose and approve their leaderships?

Seems to me if th eking wanted them to worship as he did he would not had allowwed it. This was a smart move by the king and he used the people against each other by making them move by making the church make things hard on them. Brilliant by making them move he got colonization and a tax base all the while the colonist thinking they were free.

As to your allusion that Im against refugees no Im not. They need to be vetted and investigated though. They also need to renounce their culture and assimilate into ours as well.
