hi i dont know where to start from i think im just going to start from the beginning, english is also not my native so sorry for any misused words.
im 17 i was born a muslim and im atheist since 14 i hate all religions and i think the world would be a better place without it.
my paranormal experiences are so weird and random, it started from my early childhood, about age 7 whenever i asked my parents to get me something and they said no i would magically find it somewhere, for example once we were taking a walk in a park i asked my parents for a box of matches (so stupid i know) they obs. said no, we kept walking and within 10mins i found a full box of dry matches dropped on wet grass my parents were like wtf, several similar things happened after that (doesn't happen to me anymore i guess when you're a child and want something the universe gives it to you because your wish is pure, i guess i should have wished for a million dollars lol) ok moving on at the age of 10 my sixth sense started working in a very very odd way, when i was at school i could hear our telephone in home ring with the name of the person calling flash in my mind, right on that moment i would look at the clock, memorize it, go home, look up the caller id and guess what? i would see that person have called exactly on that time, everytime this happened i would ask myself "why, whats the point of this?"
after this around the age of 13 for 1 month i had this weird blackouts, i would come home from school lie on the bed for a short nap and as soon as i hit the pillow i would enter the sleep/awake state and i would hear conversations that made absolute no sense to me, ( i think even for pros reaching this sleep/awake state is a bit hard am i right?)
going forward to age 16 my friend's father died, i went there helped and sent him to the morgue, that night when i went to sleep i went to the awake/sleep state but this time instead of non sense i heard the dead guy saying "i didn't die today i died 17yrs ago!". (what did he mean?)
yesterday i found this website and read some articles about 3rd eye and ap/obe, saying to myself i wish i had the time and nerve to practice this stuff (to be honest im actually scared by it) forgetting what i read i went to sleep, with no meditation or intention of obe i experienced it, it felt totally real, i was in the middle of my room and there was a midsized bus with a doll on it, these objects were grey and they looked like they dont belong there i reached my hand for the doll i felt an energy and the doll came to me by it self, i always liked the idea of telekinesis, i rushed to my parents room jumped on their bed to tell them what i had just done, it all went blurry from there like the signal was getting weak then i felt myself going back in then immediately i woke up sleeping on my back ( i never sleep on my back) my chest up, mouth open, and a small gasp for air...
so after this i decided to make a thread here asking for guidance, i think i have some serious potential for these kind of stuff but i don't know where to start. i mean is it even a good idea to develop it ?
thanks for reading and sorry for the long read and bad english.
some extra note:
im a overall good guy i help people and animals i believe humanity is the only true religion.

How to control my powers?

More like gifts than your "powers".

You don't have control over the events, just witness them, right?

You can test that by trying to guess who's on the other end of the phone before answering. And making something move without touching it while you're awake.

You are linked to other people. What you are experiencing is you get premonitions from other people of what they have seen. You asked for the box of matches because you knew someone lost them on your route that you were following. It is not really paranormal and it is very hard to control this communication. Some people have mastered it though, I know of the link but do not know how to control it. It can lead you away from danger or it can lead you into danger.

We have been taught to ignore this communication because both good people and bad people utilize it. If you link to an insane person it can cause you to do what that person is thinking. It is important to have a strong desire not to do harm to others and fend off the bad ones out there. There could even be other creatures that can control this pathway so beware. A lion could tempt it's naive prey to walk the wrong way and wind up lunch. Even the collective consciousness of bacteria and fungus may be able to control us.

This is just my idea, there is research out there on this but it is non-conclusive about these matters. If you say you are athiest, you will link with athiests. If you desire to be a Muslim you can link with your people. But do not follow the radical people in this, retain your strength to do good things. Just because I feel that this communication exists from observing things all of my life does not mean it does. Coincidences that happen all the time aren't coincidences.

It is way better to be honest and have good friends than to be rich and addicted to collecting wealth. Family is very important but being a good person that you yourself can respect is just as important.

Good for you realising religion is a crock. Especially when you were brought up in it. Way to break the cycle.

Also kudos for helping others and our furry friends.

Young people like you give me hope.

Sorry I cant guide you with the other stuff- you are obviously tuned in. Maybe others here can help you with that.

A teenager who thinkg they are different to others...shock horror!

Tell you what mate. If you have powers, then go to the James Randii website and take the million dollar challenge. He is offering a million to anyone who can prove they have special abilities like you you are saying.

Until someone does that and wins, ill remail a non beliver.

A million quid. Think how many people you can help with that. Or buy a house for your family.

Or are you going to chicken out of it? Like every other person before you.

Oh, give him a break, he's only 17, english is not his native language and he's no award winning writer.
And he did use paragraphs. I think, he did pretty good.

To the OP, I think you are just very aware and connected. Keep focusing on the good and positive.
Dont 'hate' religions, 'hate' is a very strong word and will cause you only negative feelings.

Your example with the matches is simply the law of attraction. And as a child you have less resistance so you were able to manifest things easily and instantly. When we get older, we tend to think too much about everything and therefore causing too much resistance.

Just relax, enjoy the "coincidences", sensations and OBEs and see where it takes you. Have Fun!

That test has been debunked many times. He asks for a level of proof that many established scientific theories couldn't pass.

No it hasnt. Its been "debunked" by people who claim to have powers and who failed.

No one has ever been able to prove they have any special powers...James Randii test or not. Its very simple. You have powers? Show us.....

No one has. Ever

You want to explain that? While I consider all of his experiences are exactly paranormal of one sort or another, you are throwing a lot of less knowledgeable folks for a loop by denying his matches incident and others as not being paranormal. You go on to qualify your own theory of what is transpiring, but that does not remove his experiences out of the paranormal as we commonly accept the term/experiences.

Thanks for the replies, someone here mentioned linking with a group of people that share the same belief, i find it interesting because there's this guy that gathers people every week (including a handful of my families) he preaches and sings some poems, he also gives life advice to people and is rumored to have a somewhat direct contact with god, i always thought he's manipulating the people that gather with him to link with him while the people that are being manipulated think they are following gods order he would suck the energy out of them for his own purposes.
i'll never understand how his followers can't see it that he's abusing them. ( sorry if this was a little bit offtopic but i thought it was worth mentioning)

I understand your fear. You are not the only person to suffer from it, especially at your age. You aren't crazy, you're having an attack of obsessive-compulsive disorder. I bet you can't stop thinking about all the horrible things that might happen because of your 'powers', and maybe even being afraid that deep inside you secretly want them to happen. Feels like it's driving you crazy.

If that fits the way you feel, don't worry. It's fixable. There are drugs, but simply understanding the problem and that it isn't real, just your brain undergoing a temporary malfunction, is usually a better way to deal with it (but takes longer). Anyway, a lot of adolescent OCD tends to fade away once the sufferer enters their twenties.

The main thing is to stop being superstitious. You say you're an atheist. Well, if God doesn't exist, you can bet your bottom dollar that nothing else supernatural does either. 'Paranormal powers' are yet to be proven to exist.

Theese powers, are powers, but they are not Yours.
You arent doing them.

(That is not magic. if you want to develop the ability to ask , its a good advice to start with Healing.)

You had an Question, and somehow you managed to Ask it from God.
and he answered it. simple isnt it ?

it is meant to be so, so that you get the awarenes of it.
This is not a coincidence. In God, There are no coincidences.

Another advice: Ask for a Guide, a help, which will lead you to circumstances, where you will learn how to use them and which will explain you exactly what you are doing.

why doesnt it always work ? because you arent always in a state where you can ask this question.
You are actually always in that state, but somehow it just ... (forget it,that is not important)

There may be "OTHERS" who failed to prove THEIR powers. It simply failed.
The results were, indeed from the powers they had. They probably have not realised, that the power is not theirs.
Actually, everyone can access it. But hate or fear will block most of it.
(if the test have had happened, i cannot judge)

Simply dont try to prove anything to anyone, but to yourself.
The pride of the Ego will block your success. Just be thankfull for every experience, and they will multiply.

Lol what a lazy and transparent cop out

Being asked to reproduce your supernatural claims in laboratory conditions is asking for a level of evidence that is in line with every scientific theory or hypothesis........ever.

You should all stop indulging the OP with this childish nonsense.

We are linked by collective consciousness between those of a kind. Those who have similar beliefs. When you put on a pot of coffee just before your brother comes over or when you want to see someone then run into them the next place you go to. When people you know seem to run into each other when one is thinking of the other. This link can control where you go. A link between minds of people who share things in common. This happens in religions, societies, work places, and even in schools. The ability to know what others know. Sophia.

Somehow he/she was linked either to someone who saw the matches or dropped the matches. The idea of the matches was placed in the mind before the person asked for matches from the shared link.

Much of what we consider paranormal is actually just realization of this link or collective consciousness. This link is not just between people, it can be between all living beings. Although translation may be more difficult between species.

Asty, and others, you know I love your posts, and likely the person behind them, and oh boy, do I respect your intellect, decorum and knowledge base, and you may be exactly correct in your diagnosis, actually, buuuuut... these so called "paranormal" things happen... perhaps the OP experienced them, perhaps not, but to my chagrin and confusion, they really, actually DO occur. Perhaps very rarely, perhaps not so... but they do.

My contention is that they fall under a branch of physics not yet identified, or at least a property of known physics that isn't... so no, nothing is truly "paranormal" as that word is ridiculous by definition... so unknown and too rare to be normal, maybe, but paranormal will do to save time.

The experiences that cemented that conviction... that "paranormal" happens... for me, add up to perhaps 10 to 20 minutes in a life nearly half a century long. All the other tens of thousands of minutes were chock full of completely explainable phenomena, but those spare handful of minutes gobsmacked me... and I STILL know religion is a man made crock of stinking refuse... though invisible critters and/or pk might not be.

So all I can do is urge you (in a broad sense) to keep the door open a crack, because we need some large brains to help figure the real strange stuff out. I remain confident it can be figured out... eventually.

eta and I wanted to clarify that you are more open minded than some, but I used you, heh, to say though this stuff is loaded with superstition and idiocy, that is exactly because the consensus, in general terms, sees it all as a mistake of perception, and I don't think it all is.

The OP is suffering from a common, easily diagnosed psychological disorder. I recognise the symptoms from my own adolescent experience.

Adolescent OCD is no big deal to treat. It is also, sometimes, an indicator of intelligence and creativity. But if the problem isn't recognised and treated it can stunt the sufferer socially and sexually in adulthood.

The last thing the OP needs at this point is validation of the terrors he feels. Maybe paranormal powers exist in some people, but even if that is true they are marginal, unreliable and of no value in life. Nobody has ever profited or gained happiness by them -- all successful psychics to date have been frauds or self-deceiving fakes.

Please stop ruining the OP'S future to make a debating point. This goes for both sides, by the way.

A really humane and responsible moderator would close this thread.
