Believers in the forthcoming New World Order will know of their three aims. A One World Government, a One World Currency and a One World Religion.

The first two are possible, either by guile or fear. But the last ?

No. I believe that it is already here.

I have noticed in the last few years that the 'cult of self' is growing. It started of course during the dark times of Reagan and Thatcher but since then has snowballed.

'Me first !", is the cry of the followers of this cult. Yes, many people may call themselves Christians and go to church every week, likewise they could call themselves Jews and visit the synagogue, or Muslims and attend the Mosque - but inside do they truly believe ?

Some do - but I think they are in the minority.

The average person doesn't truly follow Christ, Jehovah or Allah. They are follow the cult of self. The religion of negativity. The ideas that allow corrupt governments to kill innocents indiscriminately. To sacrifice their own young to boost their personal coffers. The I'm OK Jack mindset that allows people in the most advanced countries of the world to be homeless and starving. Yes, it happens - I've seen it. Both in the UK and the US.

Not everyone is like that, but many are. Too many. Money is their god, power their eucharist. Meanwhile many of these same people espouse political correctness. 'I'm offended' is their cry, Political correctness is their weapon. They say one thing and do another. They call for equality while espousing affirmative action. Stores have to say 'Happy Holidays' or risk a lawsuit for 'offending' other religions. Yet whenever I have spoken to people of other religions they aren't offended at all !

But thats the whole point isnt it ?

If you really think its ok for people to be homeless and hungry in your country, if you believe in the 'almighty dollar' or the Euro. if you go to your place of worship one day and pass a homeless person in the street the next without offering him aid, congratulations - you're a member of the One World Religion.

A one world religion? Kewl! What say we toss it in the dumpster along with all the other religions and make the world a better place. All in favor say aye! All opposed???

"Me first" is not some recent phenomena, It's as old as mankind. There is even a philosophy based upon the idea that every single thing we do we do for ourselves. Mankind is inherently the most selfish beast ever devised. I'm not sure I personally subscribe to that philosophy, but I can understand the basis for it.

I personally don't belong to any religion, each of them have enough hypocrits that they don't need me darkening their doors. As a spiritual anarchist I personally believe that every religion is a conspiricy against not only mankind, but against the creator as well.

I have to say that you have quite the insight on this, and I can relate to what you say... It is so sad that people can't see past their own egos to be tolerant of others. I, for one, am aware of the One World plan and all of it's aspects, including population control. I think that the Government is gearing certain echelons of people toward their own demise, by creating a sort of society that looks down on those that are less fortunate causing them to completely ignore those who are needy...The needy are a "burden" for this society and the Government is trying to paint a picture that those with riches are above those without. I have actually read about how the Government is trying to get rid of those who are poor because of this reason. They allow drugs into the U.S., they fail to provide adequate health benefits for their children, ect... This is all a part of the great plan to lead these people into oblivion.... It is truly disgusting. Tax cuts for the rich, death to the poor. But, what the Government doesn't realize is that the poor will have riches in Heaven, at least they can't take that away. Just my thoughts... Far fetched or not, it is happening as we speak.

There's a kid at my school that claims to be aethiest but still had a ba mitzfah (sorry if I misspelled) for one purpose: self gain. He got tons gifts and bragged about it the following week. I'm an athiest and I still recieve gifts allthough I do not give. I tell people not to get me anything as they should't expect to get anything in return other then my gratitude. My family is very Euro so christmas is important family time as we only gather twice a year. Athiests can be very selfish and self-absorbed when they are young(ie Teens) because Teens in general are very selfish and self-centered, its the nature of the beast. The problem is that some of these children do not grow out of it due to inept or clueless parents. Belief or lackthereof does not really influence selfishness, its the Multi-national PR campaigns and the Consumer mindset thats the real problem.

But from the majority of Athiests I have met are not materialistic at all, and the more religous(at least Christian) mindset the more they consume as the Bible condones it(and even promotes it).

As you reread that last sentence, realize that our law makers have created a legal system that causes all of us to commit three felonies a day on average. No amount of laws passed will hold back objectivism in a materialistic society. It is based on doing to others by trampling freedom and liberty at the expense of others and to the benefit of the few. This is commonly referred to as tyranny.
