A crowdfunding drive launched by a 29-year-old Londoner to raise €1.6bn for a Greek bailout fund has raised €200,000 in donations. The campaign on indiegogo aims to "get Greece sorted" before the country defaults on its latest debt repayment

Well, I doubt they'll make it to their goal of 1.6 billion in a week, but one good thing here is that the campaign is going to inject the funds into the local economies, and try to help the Greek people.

Not the banksters.

If The Greek workers had paid their taxes like most other 1st World countries do, then maybe they wouldn't be in this mess.

No sympathy at all.

More like offering to transfer the debt, let me just get my credit card out to help those poor Grecians out.

I'm not donating, never been a big fan of propping up failed systems.

Just thought it was worth a discussion, since it probably will be coming to a country near you soon enough.

Exactly. Also, they spent themselves into this mess. Why would any sane person throw good money after bad?

If only...

IF Greece really defaults on its debt to Germany, it would cost ~750€ per German capita.
Thats without their last write-off...
