Very SLOW internet all day, 6/25/2015

Anyone else have lagging internet today?

I live in Western New York and have had extremely slow internet service all day.

I have Time Warner Cable as an ISP and pay for 50mb/sec. It is lucky to be 5k/sec most of the day today.

And yes, I have reset the router and all the pc's.

Just curious if anyone else has similar experience today.

did you mean yesterday? you wrote 5/25? but then 6/25 is my today so.. for me it was 6/24...

Mine was so slow I thought my router was dying.

not sure on the speed of the service, but I was having dial up flash backs.

Every time I start up or shut down.

I'm around Chicago w/ Blast internet from Comcast, just ran my speedtest.net and i got 60 mbps down and 12 mbps up, so I'm looking good today

Only thing I can think is to call your ISP and ask them to reset your speed. That worked for me once, but it doesn't all the time. Worth a shot though.

Damn, I just got 2.5mb DL and 5.2mb UL.

That is terrible for me.

I am going to call my ISP.

ETA: Just did the TWC speed test and got 1.4mbps. Expecting to hear this soon,

Mine began late last night, (6/24) around 10 PM CDT. It hasn't gotten any better through the day. It isn't the computer because it is happening to both computers. Extremely frustrating.

I seem to be running at 300kb... I peak at 450kb...
If I am not insane I think this connection is supposedly 50Mb

What in the freak?

I live on the West Coast of Canada and for the past few days my internet has been very sluggish/unresponsive. Is it affecting all the sites you go to or only some? I'm finding that ATS in particular is a problem site where I have to wait 30 seconds for a thread to load or a page to refresh. My tinfoil hat thought that this was because of the recent passing of Bill C-51 in Canada but looks like that was a stretch.
