the 1% er's finally got to Obama....sad day, not for me, I'll be gone soon, but for my son and his family...why don't we just cut the crap of representative government, and publically move the billionaire owners into the Washington chambers of political power. the financial sector have already shown how they can take down this country in 2008, and they will not hesitate to do it again with/or without government intervention.
get ready for more polluted water, dirtier air, unsafe foods and other consumer products, stagnant/or lower wages, no protections in the workplace, class war against what little we have left of a vibrant middle class.

How else is Obama going to export America's wealth to the rest of the worlkd?

hey.....48 out of 54 REPUBLICAN senators voted for it.....it would have never have gotten to his desk, if the Republicans in the senate had some balls....conservatives in the states that voted these guys in, are the ones that don't give a S**t about the average Joe.....they wanted the majority, and got it, and look what they are doing with it, without their vote this wouldn't have happened.

While everybody was caught up on the protest from Baltimore police brutality, I brought up the real issue been going on behind close doors that will impact all of us tax payers.

Yes, US now can be sue and we the tax payers will pay for it. This is not about multinationals investing more, but getting retribution for their corruption and bad deals.

And to believer that our own government is behind this bill.

But is ok, Baltimore prime time news coverage is over and we the tax payers are the loser.

Exactly, but as you can see, only a few care about this bill of many that are nothing but to kill Americas working class in favor of the latest "multinationals".

Don't we as tax payers and voters have a say so?

Thanks all for the replies(late response sorry)!

More articles have come out since the original news. Here's one:

Fast-tracking the TPP, meaning its passage through Congress without having its contents available for debate or amendments, was only possible after lots of corporate money exchanged hands with senators. The US Senate passed Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) – the fast-tracking bill – by a 65-33 margin on 14 May. Last Thursday, the Senate voted 62-38 to bring the debate on TPA to a close.

The big concern of people speaking against it is now that it's fast tracked it's almost guaranteed to pass.

For what it's worth(all know how that goes) contact your Reps, etc., and get the message out.
