Well those are pretty broad and symptoms of many things. Have to say, my dad, being 96 and working with mercury for over 50 years, still has a sharp memory.

They didn't take a pic inside your shorts, evidently. Are you sure the pool in there is mercury and not something more yellow? Let's hope it's not brown. Then you have a problem.
Okay, now to the actual post. I don't know why they didn't take pics. I would have thought that's one of the first things to be done. It's possible that they did and just don't want to release them yet for some reason.

I know and agree. The vid was my lame attempt at humor. I have a warped view on life and my humor often gets blank, uncomfortable stares.

I was just trying to show the reasoning behind it.

I totally agree with that.

Pulling a statue from a pool of mercury… is akin to pulling a rabbit from a hat.

You know what? I tried to post similar thoughts, and it's not the first time that the "Key West" pop up went ballistic and caused me to scrap the post just when I was ending it. There are a lot of problems in journalism these days. It is as if it has become the first place you look…when you what to see the lies. This story is a joke. An absolute joke.

Remember when you were young, and thought you could choose anything, even have multiple careers?
As if you'd live forever...

According to the team, they even lifted some artifacts straight from the pools...

I think its strange, that when these kind of remarkable discoveries are made, there are lots of pictures that show exactly how, and where these
artifacts where found, i would think that its important, to document every single step of the process, apparently not this time...

Imagine how cool the pictures would be? (now imagine a drum roll) ...as sergio slowly lifts the jade statue from the mercury!

I am not saying that they did not have mercury, they probably where smarter and more advanced than we are, thats my opinion,

Just as i suspected-- NOTHING -- just wanted to end this thread with this final thought.

I had some reservations about this story too. I haven't seen one pic of these 'pools', and woth some major archeological find, thats odd as hell.

Somewhat off topic-

I was actually playing hooky and messing with the mercury from a broken thermometer on our coffee table and watching the morning news at precisely 745-1130am on 9/11/01.

I watched the entire world change that morning while I played with a small puddle of mercury.
