My favorite was:

'Mr. Churchill, if you were my husband I would poison your tea'.

'And if you were my wife, I would drink it.'

Awesome. Hadn't heard that one before.

-all take ice to your liking-

Here is one-

Strawberry lime lemon aid.

2 and 1/2 ounce bourbon.
4 ounces lemon and lime juice in equal parts,
Dash of angostura bitters.
other half of pint glass in equal parts is strawberry puree reduced with cranberry juice.

Here is another-
Vodka citrus bomb.

1 ounce berry vodka,
1 ounce strawberry vodka,
1 ounce clementine vodka,
1 ounce citron vodka,
dash of cranberry juice.

Here is another-
passion fruit vodka tequila margarita.

get can of Maracuya (parcha) (chinola) concentrate frozen and then blended with a little bit of orange or clementine juice, 4 ounces of triple sec
take half of the mix and pour tequila in equal parts, add ice to the top of mix. Freeze and then re-blend
Take other half of mix, add vodka in equal parts, add ice to the top of mix. Freeze and then re-blend
Pour into margarita glass at the same time to get half and half effect. NOT top and bottom layered pour.

Here is another-
No name.

make old fashioned, that is, cherry, lime wedge, dash of angostura bitters, splash of club soda and mash together over ice. Add 2 ounces of bourbon.

THEN, pour into pint glass, and add long dash of sprite, add 4 ounces of spiced bourbon, and add 2 ounces of lime juice over the top . Add to that 1 ounce maraschino cherry juice, OR maraschino liqueur for a kick in the teeth.

Here is another-
Campari and gin cocktail
pour 2 parts campari and one part gin. Classic but awesome.

I am a barman. LOL

these are the ones I like to make. I drink whiskey neat and cold lager mostly.

My favorite mixed drink, in all honesty, is a Jager bomb.
1 oz. Jagermeister
2 oz. Red Bull
1 incredibly bad hangover

The martinus is a close second.
I say martinus because I usually don't have more than 1.

Guess I am pretty simple as I will only normally drink one of two things with booze:

Either Jack Daniels & Coke (2/3 Jack 1/3 coke)

Or straight shots of cheap whiskey. (McMasters is not all that bad really)

I love Bloody Mary's. Occasionally we'll have everyone over for brunch and I set up a Bloody Mary station on the bar with all kinds of condiments to throw in your drink.

Similar to a Negroni which is equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. I add a few dashes of orange bitters and orange peel. If you switch out the Campari for Cynar (artichoke-based liquor) it becomes a Thistle.

Ah yes a good martini with a blue cheese olive mmm mmm.

The problem in most establishments is they don't know how to make a true martini, if the bar tender asks me what type of vodka I want with my tini I give him the WTF look then order a beer instead.

You can't go wrong with a homemade grappa.

Good ol' White Russian
2 cl Vodka
2 cl coffee liquor (Kahlúa)
4 cl Milk or cream

You can double the vodka for extra punch

If I want to remember my college days, I'll go Killer Kool-Aid -- 1/2 vodka, the other half is 1/2 cranberry juice, 1/2 peach schnapps. Got a 32 oz one at a bar in NOLA at happy hour for $5 and ably accomplished my goal of not being the sober one on the bus ride home on Spring Break once.

However, these days I much prefer margaritas ... all kinds. There is a local bar that serves something called a Black Voodoo Rita ... Yum ... Wish I knew what was in it.

Just go to Pat O's and grab a Hurricane if you're trying to get THAT kind of drunk. Well, maybe a few. Not terribly strong.

I started the day with one of those with my oysters Rockefeller. I chased that with a daiquiri. Neither of those even buzzed me. We are talking about my athlete days when I was also used to lots of painkillers.

I had enough alchol tolerance that it took well over 7 or 8 mixed drinks on my 21st to put me off my feet. Mind you, I weighed about 127 in those days.

Well, I'm no athlete. And weigh just shy of 230. But I have absolutely no other point to make regarding this. I am apparently just fat and lazy.

I'm not anymore either. Today, it takes a lot less to get a nice happy on. Thank goodness, and I have joined the fat and lazy crowd.

Well, I'd say that it's good to know I'm not alone, but Walmart confirmed that for me decades ago.

I make Kahlua to give for Christmas gifts.
This year I even made a gluten free batch.
But when we go to a nice restaurant,
I usually order a Pink Squirrel.
A lot of places never heard of it.

•3/4 ounce creme de noyaux (crème de almond)
•3/4 ounce white creme de cacao
•1 1/2 ounces heavy cream

The crème de almond is getting really hard to find though.
Our liquor store doesn't even carry it.
They will special order it though.
But you have to order it by the case!!!

My brother gave me bottle of Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog for Christmas.
It had rum, brandy & whiskey in it!
A small glass of that puts me right to sleep!
They know how to make a great eggnog!!!
