And it just so seemed to happen in South Korea? ETA following answering posts : South Korean Embassy and not in South Korea itself (although the embassy is classed as South Korean territory))

I would like to know if just anyone can claim to be part of Isis?

I am on the fence about this...

Garrrgghhhhhhh...

My apologies, what I meant to say was why attack the South Korean embassy... The worst thing about it was that I also saw this on the news this morning...

Hey... be cool with me, I have not had my morning caffeine/nicotine fix yet.

But still on the fence anyway.

Considering the death toll those psychotic bastards of IS have racked up of all nations it is lucky no koreans were killed .. and yes its regrettable that the embassy guards were killed in the incident ..

It's all good lol. Your original post seemed as though you didn't even believe it happened.

Anyway to answer your question:

ISIS is anti everything that isn't Caliphate. Not to mention South Korea is an ally to the US and is cool with most of the west last time I checked. So they are an enemy of ISIS, and ISIS is an enemy of them... just because.

First we divide them, draw borders between them with a ruler. Launch airstrikes in the name of "fighting" terrorism, fund and train Jihadists to sodomise and kill their leader and the rest of the population.

What's the surprise this time?

Practical answer: Let them butcher themselves back into the stone age and then we see what emerges under their own power? It would be difficult to claim that they would be in any better shape today if they had been left entirely alone in the first place. And they liked the oil money.
