first off its hard for me to tell because i am diagnosed schizoaffective.

When the phenomenon started happening i would sometimes feel pain outside of my body, and sometimes i would feel heat.
I've been told that the majority of my experience were hallucinations.

when i think or say things i will feel a tingly sensation all around my head just above the ears. i used to think it meant ultimate truth but really it tells me lies all of the time.

Im always having a conversation in my head. it really feels like something is reading my mind and communicating with me because weird-o voices will talk back to my thoughts as a thought in my head, i thought something was placing thoughts into my head because sometimes i couldnt control them at all.

Everyday it is a constant battle of trying to learn ultimate truth, with what feels like an evil presence constantly there.
This has been going on since around september 29th 2011.

i will feel the tingling sensation around my crown when i think of evil things; i've heard the devil can disguise himself as an angel of light so i wouldnt put it past the devil to make my head feel good when evil things go on.

I almost let my grandmother get me an exorcism back in the day, but i decided that i didnt really put much faith in that because of so many cheesy exorcism videos on the internet.

I saw the clouds arranged as the tree of life in the sky, and i saw them as a stairway to heaven.
I would experience alot of synchronicity to what i was thinking and the world around me.

i saw Ufos flying by in the sky at breakneck speeds that looked like shooting stars, i would ask a question and they would appear as a response to what i was saying/thinking. i also saw a huge spaceship looking thing go across the moon when i was sitting on the beach all by myself just thinking about things.

basically, what my shizophrenic mindf##k has lead me to believe is that angels are the extraterrestials, some of them are good and some of them are bad, whatever the F##k the egyptian goddess isis might be the devil in disguise, as i hear voices that tell me its isis talking to me.

ive never heard voices that tell me to hurt myself or others, but when i think about it ill get the tingling sensation, which i believe is trying to convice me something is true when really its an ultimate lie. i asked once if my grandmother was a reptillian shapeshifter and i got the feeling. i get the feeling to alot of things when i think about god and the extraterrestial angels.

Really it just feels like something trying to mess with me and confuse me, trying to stop me from learning the truth that i seek.

i know it sounds alot like psychosis or something, but it only happens to me when im thinking about god, biblical things, spirituality, or something esoteric.

i can play a video game and my mind will be calm but as soon as i start seeking the truth my mind gets a messing with.

I hope if you not already...you can seek professional medical and psychological counseling where you can talk all this out.

There are no easy answers, but I do know the ability to discuss your feelings is a benefit.

Im an EMT and no expert nor qualified, but I personally and respectfully don't think you are possessed. And its certainly not unusual for any of us...all of us in fact...to be a little confused in our lives.

Good luck and God Bless! MS

ive told the psychiatrist that ive heard voices and seen things that shouldnt be there, but i never told them the extent of what i was going through, im afraid theyll put me in a mental ward or something if i tell them everything.

i am already on anti psychotic medication but it doesnt do anything and ive tried a few different medications.
i used to talk to myself in reply to what i was going through as if i was talking to someone else but really the only reason noone in my life thinks im crazy is because ive learned to keep my mouth shut at all times so i dont get baker acted again. im still having the same conversation in my head without speaking.

Get to know Jesus personally and you will not be so prone to thinking that his name is without power. Every time I have had a demonic encounter I use the name of Jesus and feel peace. I have gotten to know that peace is a sign that God's power is present.

No words of mine will change your make up, but you should know that you lose the battle if you give up without a fight because you expect to lose. God is there and fights for us, cling to Jesus and expect his love, because his love does not exclude you.

What meds and what dose?

They don't make the voices go away - you do realise that?

They alter your attitude such that the hallucinations don't bother you.

They induce a feeling of "Who cares?"

In Britain, we used to call them major tranquillisers.

There's a reason for that.

In Islam, you would be talking about the Jinn. The Devil is a jinn, as well. We believe his only powers are to speak directly to our beings and the power of suggestion. He can mimic your inner voice & get you to think his suggestions are your own. Not saying you have to believe our teachings, but that's how we would diagnose it.

Not sure if I should be writing this, but I went through something similar for a long time. In fact, it's one of the 2 reasons I became a Muslim in the first place. That voice used to teach me things, warn me of things, taunt me, and guide me. But it was a liar and would always get me into trouble. I literally accepted that it was real before I accepted that God was real. As crazy as this sounds, it said it was trying to groom me to become its vessel & would taunt me for my incompetence (so I'd try to get strong enough so I could crush it). I even used to get "sleep paralysis" episodes from it, and would have moments where it was like a phantom stalking me (the 1st verse of Tool's song "Sober" comes to mind). But thankfully, God got tired of me playing both sides & chastised me pretty hard lol. Then God helped me overcome it, so I chose God's side & haven't looked back ever since.

I guess I told you all of that to let you know you need to make a choice, either spiritually or w/a doctor. Drug treatments can help your situation or amplify it, it just depends on the person and the treatment. Technically, they call them intrusive thoughts, and usually prescribe enough medications to make you ignore them. Spiritually, I'd say you should finally determine which path you're going to walk, then walk it.

What you describe is classic schizophrenia, what's known as the 'positive symptoms'.

Very unpleasant but nothing to do with the devil, and you're not possessed.

Well psychosis is a misunderstood word. All humans are prone to it, though extreme stress, lack of sleep or whatever. Even if some person who's usually placid flips out and goes and slams a door, then swears at someone, that is technically a psychotic episode. Schizophrenia is simply permanent psychosis........ Plus who's suffering from psychosis and who's not is really down to perception. Like if you see someone in a church with there arms in the air, eyes shut with tears pouring down there face, yelling nonsense about the holy spirit, society would call it just being highly spiritual. But if you saw another person doing the same thing in there front yard, but calling out about aliens, then he'd probably be taken away and put on anti-psychotics. lol.

Anyway, I don't suffer from schizophrenia, but do probably have an undiagnosed case of bipolar, I do talk to myself a lot too. Just a little habit I picked up from spending a lot of time alone in the bush, haven't had voices talk back to me as of yet though. It just keeps me centered and helps me get control of all those thoughts flying though my head at a thousand miles an hour.

I will say, that I do start losing track of reality if I spend to much time thinking about religious type things when I'm having one of my bipolar type 'ups'. Like I start wondering if I've been cursed or something and have evil spirits taunting me, or I get these intense feelings that there's some demon waiting to jump out of the spare room and grab me while walking down my dark hallway at night, lol. Just childhood fears really, that only pop up when my minds flying way to much and I've been reading up about religion or whatever.

You just got to find a way to center your mind and think rationally. Remembering that religions and demons and all the rest are just figments of peoples imaginations, seems to work for me. Think of space exploration, the scientific method, lol, read a book by Dawkins and stay away from things of a supernatural nature is probably the best thing to do.

But then, some people think they need religion to have purpose. So really, who am to say? I just personally know I have to take it with a grain of salt, to keep me from falling off the deep end, when I'm bouncing off the walls, lol.

No one here can tell you for certain what is happening with you. I would strongly recommend talking to a mental health person, to start, and also to consider what you can do if there is a spiritual element to your experiences. An exorcism is questionable. Yes, people can be possessed, and yes, the demons can be cast out, but a lot of what happens in purported exorcisms might not be the real deal. I do NOT believe some esoteric ceremonies are needed; just someone of strong faith willing to take action. In the Bible, when demons were cast out, no ceremonies were needed. They were told to leave, in the Name of Jesus, by faithful believers, or ordered out by Jesus Himself. This is something a Christian can do, if they act in faith. Some, we are told, also require prayer and fasting. The key is to get them out, and make sure they stay out, which means one should be saved. The very first step wold be to accept Jesus, and then you could order any demon out yourself. Assuming your issue really is a demon.

You could well have some mental condition, not spiritual, and need a different sort of assistance. Either way, praying that you can find some relief, and real truth.

Well...look at it this way. Some of the voices and conversations can be interpreted as just you and your sub-conscious communicating in an odd and unusual way back with you.

Again, I know we here at ATS wish you well...and pray you find some clarity and peace in all this.

Best

The only safe guard from demon possession is to believe that Jesus died for your sins on the Cross. At that moment, your spirit is born again, and permanently indwelt with the Holy Spirit. Where the Holy Spirit is, no demon can enter.

No bells and wistles, smoke and mirrors involved. Simply believe that Jesus (the Son of God) incarnated into human form to die for your sins, and you will be free. Who knows, it might even help you control your schizoaffective diagnosis if nothing else.

If demons exist, then they'll say anything to lead you away from Christ...and I can tell you that demons are real from personal experience.

Dont waste time, simply rest your faith in Christ.

BTW did I forget to mention, 'believe in Christ'?

If demons even existed, why would they tell him anything at all? Wouldn't that be a sure way to get a person to turn to religion?

Not an incredibly intelligent bunch, are they?

Ok let me start off with, I am someone involved in what many would call an Occult spirituality. I can say with out a shred of doubt, you are not possessed. If you were, you'd not be able to ask that question to begin with. What you might be experiencing is some issues with any medications which you are taking. I would speak with a mental health professional as soon as you can. Schizophrenia is a hell of a condition, so do yourself a favor, get it seen too. Either your meds are not working, or they need a tweak. Hopefully the latter.

Good luck neighbor.

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

You are definitely not possessed

According to the department of Exorcism at the Vatican church and its teaching the following must be witnessed by more than two lay persons:

1. body levitation.
2. Super human strength.
3. Speaking languages that the person could not have ever known to learn.

These are the three basic signs of a possessed person and you have not mentioned these. Of course there are other factors again no reason to discuss them because you have not mentioned them.

Medication does not work on a possessed person no matter how strong it is unless the person overdoses on it. It is either an overdose or no effects.

The voice or voices in your head do not appear to be demonic because if they were you would not be able to take it since 2011, believe me. Demonic voices first start out as "your buddy" but they eventually turn on you and get very nasty. Their foul mouth and constant threats will tear you down and put you in a mental ward. They scream at you while you sleep..... keeping you awake......days, weeks at a time. These voices ALWAYS want you to hurt someone or something and eventually convince you to commit suicide. I am going to stop here.

Basically from your OP I would have to agree with those who say you should first see a licensed mental health specialist before considering any type of negative entity is actually attacking you. As a demonologist who studies demons and assist those with real spiritual attacks, your case sounds to be a mental health issue and I don't want to get into specifics because by mentioning specific "signs and wonders" to a mentally impaired person...... that person might start to convince themselves they too have witnessed and live through these "signs and wonders".

PLUS there are a lot of "fakers" out here who seek out attention so they come up with this idea they are possessed. Some will go all the way..... and try to act like Linda Blair from the original exorcist movie. Some are actually very comical.

I shall use the word demons from here on out even though they are classified as negative spiritual entities.

You possibly could be obsessed. A negative spirit being attached to you. Actually not uncommon and many religious people have this problem. However being obsessed can "get out of hand" and if this is the case you need to be careful due to "legalism" ........ a term demons use to gain possession of a human body. By you allowing the demon to enter into you. So as long as you fight back and refuse to agree with whatever is possibly attacking you, I believe you will be fine. If you are obsessed you need to find a "man of faith" who is capable of laying hands on you and can expel the entity.

NOTE: For this post when I use the term "Man of faith" it also applies to a "woman of faith".

Many people think a man or woman of "faith" can expel these negative entities and that is incorrect. The demon is not scared of a "man of faith", it is however petrified of the mighty angels standing behind and beside the "man of faith" . If and I say IF the Holy Spirit is within a person (that person would be a "man of faith") the demon can see this as well...... for the Holy Spirit can call upon numerous angels and fill the room full of them if needed. If the Holy Spirit is present then calling upon the Archangel Michael ..... he will come and once he enters the room, the fight is over.

Now try this exercise:

Close your eyes and picture this entity inside your head, breathe in through the nose and blow out the air through your mouth and while doing this picture this entity leaving you as it disappears. Repeat as necessary.

Hmm, don't listen to the folk claiming it's Djin or Demons or that you need Jesus. I don't have schizophrenia but I have years of experience with sleep paralysis and all the lovely horrors associated with it. From Demons, Sprites, Shadow people, the Grey's and so on. At first it was terrifying and I thought I was being attacked from paranormal entities and I was becoming possessed, but it only ever happens at times of great anxiety. I put it down to a stressed, hallucinating mind unable to shut off in a state of sleep paralysis. My experiences were purely psychological, as is yours.

Self-diagnose can be very dangerous.

There's nothing to diagnose. I don't have any form of problems with paranoia or voices and never have. I rarely get the sleep paralysis episodes anymore either. I used to live a very unhealthy lifestyle that caused a lot of stress. Exercise and a healthy diet is all I needed. Unless of course you mean a diagnosis from a demonologist, ha.
