I did express an opinion about it. I guess you just didn't like it. I meant I had never heard of it until this thread. Kind of strange for something that seems to be deserving of presidential attention. You'd think a bi guy would have at least heard of it.

The real problem here.... is the fact that we have way too many psychotherapists and such in the world and they are graduating more every day. They have to create jobs for them and these treatment programs do just that...but it's not related to just homosexual problems it's all manner of other "psychological disorders" too. We don't need anymore psychiatrists or any other type of psycho analyzers in the world. We can mess ourselves up just fine all by ourselves.

You say treatment as if this was a valid therapy. No one should go through this and it certainly won't help an adult to not be gay. The therapy should be to help that adult accept him/herself.

PS: There is not treatment for these predators. The only way to ensure the safety of our children is to put these creeps in jail. That's the only Therapy that will achieve anything worthwhile.

So, what is a disorder? Green eyes, left handed, freckles?

Gays are not broken. Every human has a difference.

Wrong again, just like the notion of "traditional marriage".

Same sex partnerships have been recognized throughout the world as valid through various periods of Human existence, the term Homosexual was only invented at the start of the 20th century - by psychologists with Christian bias.

Before this, there was no need to label people as being in one group or another, they were simply seen as being different, having different relationships. It wasn't even considered important in religion, employment, or society as a whole. And that "traditional marriage" back then was pretty much the scam it is now, a social construct, expectation, presumption...

Gay men back then were simply expected to marry and have kids, because it was the thing one does to have an heir. It didn't matter if all those around them knew that they spent one weekend a month on hunting trips with their "best friend".

And obviously, your notions about traditional family, and no doubt "traditional marriage" are also complete BS, given that even the Catholic church recognized same sex marriage at one time, as did the Pagans of Europe, as did the Native Americans, and as have various societies all over the world throughout Human history.

If you want to pick out specific cultures and specific periods of Human existence to support your notions of what is "normal" or "right" or "traditional", you may want to stick to preaching that BS to people who don't know any better, you know, like the ignorant fools down at the local cult house.
