Like this? I haven't said anything negative...I am just backing up the OP saying there really is care there even with the poor word choice...

If this was my child, I really wouldn't even listen to a word anyone said...Honestly! My child is my angel no matter what anyone says, no matter who says it, no matter the word choice or anything...That angel is mine and I am perfectly happy with my child no matter the issues, medically or physically....If you were a parent maybe you understand what I am saying, but I can tell you no matter what people say, your child is your life...No matter the appearance or comments!

Oh for the love of Pete! It says he's otherwise pretty healthy. He's just missing a nose. Chill out.

He's pretty cute even without the nose, but most babies are. It's their only defense.

Really.....I am not the one who started a thread calling this baby an alien. So what you are saying is, I should chill out and accept without complaint when people make fun of others......Really should I just accept it.

I am right. Making fun or calling this child an alien is just plain wrong and shows a lack of empathy and compassion.

Your post about Russell Brand lacks empathy...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This man is just trying to do his part like the rest of us....

YES, this is off topic....So now back to the conversation we were having....I am sure I could find others that lack empathy on your part, but your opinion is just that...Your opinion! Just because someone says something lacks empathy, doesn't mean that same person doesn't do just that in other conversations!

Is empathy and compassion completely gone in today's world......From the looks of it yes. It is a baby that is having a hard time with some birth/health issues. Pathetic.

Are people born without a hand aliens also..........What about skin conditions.....YEP they must be hybrids. In this sad world we live in today the first instinct of many is to jump to conclusions like this or to poke fun.

Is it any wonder why this world and humanity are failing. Empathy and compassion are learned traits and in short order it seems. Place yourself in the parents shoes and imagine how much they are worrying.

What's more tragic is a person born without a sense of humor.

How are you coping with that, by the way?

Cute baby, glad he is healthy.

And no-ones made a "Voldemort" joke?

Because we can't say his name aloud... but you just did. Now we're screwed.

Sometimes, a defect is just a defect. On a side note, the kid is a cutey nose or no nose! Congrats to the family.

The baby is adorable/cute. My concern is how is he able to breathe "normally" through his nose. I don't see any openings for nostrils.

I think you're blowing it out of proportion and taking things way too seriously. Is not like they're calling the child an alien personally nor honestly accusing the mother of getting abducted and incubated with alien DNA.

If everyone took everything as seriously as it "should" be, there would be no jokes or levity over anything, ever. Nor would anyone ever question anything unusual. Shoot there could be aliens walking around getting along just fine cause no one's willing to call them on their "birth" defects or check to make sure. You never know.

Either way, you're taking this way too seriously. The kid is healthy, though might suffer in school where people actively putting him down, in person. It will definitely get him much worse than some random thread or post on a site he might never visit, around the time he was born.

We're on a conspiracy site, the kid has no nose, which is commonly reported with many aliens, especially grey's, coincidentally known for abductions and hybridizations, to expect the comparison to not be made is ludicrous.

Though honestly my first thought was, huh, so Krillan from Dragon Ball who has no nose really is possible for a human in the real world.

How is the little guy going to nurse properly or even drink from a bottle? There won't be any way for him to breathe. Challenging case. He's darling.

I'm sure he'll adapt fine. I have no sense of smell and have difficulty breathing out my nose sometimes. I eat and drink just fine. The child is at that stage where adaptation happens even quicker than it does for us. I'm sure he'll be switching between taking a sip and breathing like a pro in no time. It really isn't that hard.

Actually breathing while eating is a great way to choke, are you sure you're breathing through your nose when you eat or drink?

According to the article, the mother was suffering from weight loss and vomiting. The doctors prescribed her some medication to control this. So either she was eating or drink something that had toxins that made the placenta make her want to vomit, or the medicines messed up the normal growth cascade of genes that would have created the nose and olfactory system.

The little guy was given a tracheostomy to help him breath regularly. The doctors will probably be playing around with MRI scans and 3D printing to see if they can print a nose for him or just fold skin tissue. They've got 16 years to do this.

WOW, someone backed off...A lot....Wonder why that is?? Sorry if this comment isn't empathetic enough, but someone making a mountain out of a molehill finally caught up? Or maybe the pot calling the kettle black looked in the mirror? Not sure but somehow the drastic argument finally ended....Your welcome Vasa Croe....Back to an actual conversation if you would like

You see a baby with a birth issue and the first thing you can think of is alien hybrid. I am sorry to say you are messed up.

You see a baby with a birth issue and the first thing you do is attack another poster, I am sorry YOU are so messed up.

Yep, big head, large eyes, small/no nose is the majority description of our alien abductors/hybrid creators. I'd say vasa hit it right on the nose.

Ha...I was just waiting for it to die out....I am a father of 3 and have to laugh at a lot. Some people just have the corn cob too far up there to laugh at anything. This kid is going to need to have a good sense of humor. I have plenty of compassion and empathy for him.

Doesn't change that my first thought was that he looked like a hybrid alien...

Nobody will be able to tell Eli to keep his nose in his own business.

He's kind of a cute kid.

I think I found his nose. au.ibtimes.com...
