Once it's determined the bigger cities play this game and they are caught THAT will start our follow up ,but initially pointing them out IS important.

If trouble happens later the info will be essential.

Defund departments. Pull the plug before it's too late.

There's an easy way to accomplish that... stop committing crimes.

Congrats on posting hands down the most ignorant comment I've read on ATS in 6+ years. Many of those detained haven't been charged with a crime. That means it could just as easily be YOU behind bars without due process. Yes you, Mr. Bone75. Cops are wrong all the time. How often do you hear about no knock search warrants at the wrong house? And as our country continues to lower its standards on education and everything else these horror stories will become as common as the Cop/dog shootings.
I hope you're next.

The American people still have rights, but the government has given just about every party, group or organization a way around them.

It brings to point, that if we still have a right but another has the power to ignore it. Do we still count it as having that right. What happens after that depends on the person really.

But we all know the rights we have, the lines we've draw in the sand with them are being over stepped and there is nothing legal we can do about it. I only count it as stopping who ever when they never do it again. Not when they say sorry and try to do it a different way an hour later.

Actually, crime has been dropping all across the board for the last ten years or more. Strangely, while crime is decreasing, incarceration is at an all time high, and seems to be increasing. Try to explain that...less crime=more people in jails/prisons. hmmm. I agree...defund!

I have NEVER called someone a government shill before. even when I violently disagree with someone......but that may change....

Fact is most people on this thread are finding it hard to believe I do too.
And what we want is further investigation.

The fact that your doing your best to deflect the issue to off topic foreign affairs and doing you absolute best to to discourage any further investigation into the matter or label those that want the matter looked into "anti American" raises alarm bell.

Even if one does not believe it true they should AT LEAST be wanting the matter investigated even if its to just to confirm nothing is going on.

I'm with you 100% on the suspicion of shillery. I'm far from a Shill hunter, and I know we aren't supposed to talk about other members, but this guy constantly repeats some of the most bizarre pro-corruption talking points. You can always count on him to dismiss anyone who is even slightly critical of wrong doing.

When a report of wrong doing comes out, and the best you could come up with is "anyone who considered the possibility of wrong doing is anti-American" over and over in thread after thread, it's hard not to raise an eyebrow.

To suggest it's anti-american to ask questions in regards to something that goes against our foundation of freedom is just bizarre. If anything it's anti-American to prevent people from trying to preserve our freedom. It's anti-american to protect people that would ruin this nation.

You are getting all worked up over a foreign pro demonstrator hatchet job. No proof. Bigfoot section at least has grainy photos.

Actually this should be in the hoax bin because the title says confirmed, and nothing is confirmed that has been claimed.

And the fact you use the word demonstrators as a dirt word speaks volumes. Not all demonstrators are a bad thing, and the right to demonstrate is vital in a free society.

Ones that get convicted of possessing an incendiary device at a protest are not good protestors or the kind of protesting protected under the Constitution.
Lobbing molitovs must equal good protester in your book.

See people how it takes my quote and spins it into something i never said.

This
1) deflects from the topic at hand
2) trys and discredits the poster

Not peoole how it latchs on to this one point but ignores the core of my post that relates to the topic.

For the record no that is NOT what I said.

I was saying not all demonstations and protests are a bad thing.

If they have petrol bombs then yes that is a bad thing.

Did you even read the story? The whole story is about a guy who got convicted of having an incendiary device at a protest then came out with these unproven accusations.

wow it like your reading from a script.

Was he coerced to plead guilty? Is having a Molotov cocktail a precursor to being a violent radical? I consider secret interrogations/coercion through violence and other actions of the state to be far more dangerous. How does one go about procuring evidence from a top secret facility? Still waiting on that Area 51 evidence to materialize after all these years

The problem is the police are quickly losing credibility. They have been shown time and again to plant evidence, manufacture charges, and outright abuse people to protect their jobs or simply because they feel like it.

Only cause you fail to address what any of us are saying.

Fact is he has served his time.

Treating past criminals like second class citizens is why you get most your re offending rates,.

And why should allegations be dismissed because of past criminal records?

As someone pointed out he could have been coerced into pleading guilty.

You don't know until a investigation.

And it was not just him. His lawyer as hit a number of barriers trying to find him and noticed a number of discrepancy's.

It likely and probably is not true.

But what harm is there looking into the matter?

To say just dismiss it because of him having a criminal record is bull#.

Update of the story with another account:

Held for hours at secret Chicago 'black site': 'You're a hostage. It's kidnapping'

Protester Vic Suter was shackled to a bench and denied access to a lawyer

Suter claims officer told her: ‘You’re going to get a tour of hell inside Homan’

A woman who says she was shackled to a bench within Chicago’s secretive interrogation facility for 18 hours before being permitted access to a lawyer described the ordeal as being “held hostage’’ in the police compound that has been likened to a CIA black site.

Vic Suter, a protester arrested before the 2012 Nato summit in Chicago, has told the Guardian about her experience of being detained inside Homan Square, a warehouse where multiple detainees allege they have been unable to contact legal counsel. Suter described a situation in which she was neither booked nor permitted a phone call – in defiance both of Chicago police procedures and a statement by police on Tuesday attempting to deny the Guardian’s reporting.

Cont...

Suter, whose recollection was backed up by her former lawyer Lillian McCartin, said she was shackled by her right wrist to a bar behind a bench in Homan Square for approximately 18 hours before she was permitted access to her attorney.

“The stark difference between Homan and a county jail or a precinct that has holding cells or any other concept of a common jail that most Americans have is that you have no rights at Homan,” Suter said.

It wouldn't surprise me but it sounds exactly like yet another controlled "leak" by the government, media and/or both, for purposes unknown.

Nothing would surprise me these days. Maybe that's exactly what they want. A population that eventually becomes so desensitized to this kind of thing that at some point, nobody will even care. We're already not too far from it.

To be honest, if they can keep something like this a relative secret for 10 years, I don't believe a "leak" is an accident.

There isn't much to say that hasn't been said already, besides, I've had my fair share of rants regarding this topic. We have already surpassed the Event Horizon and it isn't going to end well for any of us.

What happened in Fergueson was a test run for much of the hardware and tactics that can be expected as is a better understanding of these "secret" rendition sites. Put it together folks and that's your future.

Meh... this is no different than the secret fat rendition sites located about the country.

You know, where people go to lose fat. That fat is then rendered and turned into what they sell us as Baby Oil, when it is actually "Adult oil".

Highly secret stuff... Cant have people realizing their baby oil is not really from babies but from adults instead. Ewww
