Am I the only one who cant stand the Pets forum icon?

It took me about two weeks to realize what the hell it was. When I finally managed to see the bulldog, I inmediately realized there was something odd about it. Well yeah, it stands out from every other ATS icon because it has three colors!!

Who came up with it? It seems as if the designer was fired, and they had to hire a new guy to make it. An icon that stands out from the rest because it doesnt fit the style at all.
...well it's round, but that's about it.

It really annoys me. Well... I'm the kind of guy who cant stand that sort of stuff, I get an itch inside my head everytime I see it.

For the rest of us, it has sentimental value, showing the deep bond possible between human and dog.

Something you can't get when you are owned by a cat.

Seriously though... The member above is correct. The icon is of a pug and was made as a memorial for the owner's recently deceased furkid Argus.

The forum was started/opened the day that Argus passed, so it is only fitting that it be somewhat of a memorial to him.

The circle around it could be a bit more centred and the dogs head made a little bit smaller, and than it would look a bit better.

But I think it`s nice the image is being in honour.

Lighten up. If you have a deep bond then great. I have only ever met two nice cats. Only ever met two bad dogs.

As far as I know, SkepticOverlord designed it himself.

Its the only icon what is in colour, so I do agree that it does not fit. Maybr if it can be changed to line art, like all the other icons, it will fit in better.

Yes, there is a jelousy there me thinks.

Cats are way cooler than dogs imo.

Socks can make great pets too. Mine have learnt to crawl on their own.

What if we change it for an spitting llama? .... the world is a better place since we have the pets forum. That's all I know.
