This is a list of targeted acts of terrorism on Christian civilians and church workers by religious Muslims since September 11th, 2001. These attacks have nothing to do with war, combat or insurgency. The victims are innocent Christians who were specifically targeted and abused solely on account of their faith by those who claim their own religion as a motive.
There may be a few anomalies on the list, as it is compiled by keyword search from our main database. Neither is this a complete account of Islamic terror attacks on Christians since much of the violence goes unreported.

DUH
The point is that if it is justified to treat such threats as serious from me then we should also accept them as being serious coming from them.
Many choose to down play their threats by making the claim that There is no threat to the usa. that is false.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Oh for crying out loud.
You lot will come up with any excuse to have a go at Obama.
From a foreigners perspective it's more than just nitpicking, it's totally ridiculous.
There was a time when the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria appeared unstoppable. In September and October, as the jihadist group captured territory through a major offensive in Iraq’s Anbar province, culminating in the fall of the town of Hit on October 13, observers feared that even Baghdad was in danger of being overrun. ISIS is now in the midst of another major military movement in Anbar, but the always-overblown fears about the organization’s advance are now receding—and the group’s decline has grown increasingly apparent.
ISIS’s signature attributes, ferocity and unpredictability, have raised the group’s profile and inspired a spate of lone-wolf attackers. But the organization has also made several strategic errors along the way. The Islamic State’s lifeblood is partially money and territory, but primarily momentum against weak and ill-prepared enemies. And that momentum, which peaked in early August, has stalled.

Good lord.
Jews don't believe in Jesus. The Old Testament/Torah is theirs primarily. Strike one.
You know, the funny thing is, actually, Muslims do believe in Jesus, whom they call Isa (which is probably closer to the name such a person would have been called).
They even look for his Second Coming at the end times to slay an equivalent of the Antichrist.
Shall I give you examples of American Fundamentalists who have claimed that the Old Testament laws regarding death should be enacted against those they don't agree with? Strike two.
Should I point out that your Jesus said himself that he had not come to do away with the "Law and the Prophets" but to fulfill them? Strike three.
Get the stick out of your own eye before you go after the dustmote in someone elses.

What about it? That event didn't destroy our country. We are still here.
Would you care to elaborate on how they would EVER be capable of threatening the USA
"ISIL poses a threat to the people of Iraq and Syria, and the broader Middle East – including American citizens, personnel and facilities. If left unchecked, these terrorists could pose a growing threat beyond that region – including to the United States. While we have not yet detected specific plotting against our homeland, ISIL leaders have threatened America and our allies. Our intelligence community believes that thousands of foreigners – including Europeans and some Americans – have joined them in Syria and Iraq. Trained and battle-hardened, these fighters could try to return to their home countries and carry out deadly attacks."
ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.
In a region that has known so much bloodshed, these terrorists are unique in their brutality. They execute captured prisoners. They kill children. They enslave, rape, and force women into marriage. They threatened a religious minority with genocide.

my overall answer of how they could wipe out the usa is that they would first spread followers into the country then after obtaining high numbers of followers here they would start to begin shria law courts in areas and continue that until their influence grows to the point they start to pass laws reflecting shria law
Get worse? How? ISIS has lost considerable ground recently in both Syria and Iraq, and their most effective weapon, momentum, has been blunted.

I was actually in the military, served many many tours dealing with guys like this........
If you think for one second that it wont get worse or that they have been "blunted" then you have really no idea how the hell these guys work.....
THey still hold key strategic points, and are continuously gaining more sympathizers coming to fight with them.....
This isnt a small group of people that will just be stomped out with bombs........infact you simply CANNOT just bomb them , it wont work.....
Not to mention they arent JUST in those areas.......
Honestly you are knowledgeable in many areas such as science , theology etc......but you arent on this one.......
They have much more fight left in them and this is just the beginning , they are gaining more momentum
With the airstrikes carried out today, Egypt added its name to the growing list of countries willing to confront the militant group that now controls swaths of Iraq and Syria. The Egyptian response closely tracks that of other countries that have been targeted by ISIS. On Feb. 3, Jordan vowed revenge for the brutal killing of Jordanian pilot Moath al-Kasasbeh, and launched its own air campaign against the militants.

It is not Christendom versus Islam. That is what ISIS wants this to be about in their madness.
Sadly, that's what many of you here are arguing for as well.
ISIS’s financial and military resources have also shrunk as U.S. airstrikes have destroyed the group’s materiel and capacity to refine oil. The Islamic State is still able to sell unrefined oil on the black market, but the difference between the price it can set for unrefined versus refined oil is significant. Reports this week indicated that ISIS expects a $250-million surplus in its $2-billion budget, but these figures are entirely self-reported: Accountants aren’t exactly lining up to get into ISIS-controlled territory and perform an outside audit.
ISIS, moreover, lacks an industrial base capable of sustaining its military efforts (Ninawa and Salahaddin governorates have a number of factories, but the group has a shortage of qualified technical personnel to man and supply them). It cannot build its own heavy armor, armored personnel carriers, Humvees, anti-tank weapons, surface-to-air missiles, anti-aircraft weapons, or radar stations. Only through military raids can the organization capture the equipment it needs for battle, and the last time it did this successfully was in August.
