I'm safe but thanks, i really need to sleep though, skipped last nights sleep, just trying to get the adrenalin down a bit, i feel kind of surrealistic right now...

Adrenal response will do that to you.

My advice if you need to sleep after something like that, is to have a hot bath, dry off, listen to some trippy music, and then try and pass out. The hot bath will calm your bodies involuntary response to what has happened, by replicating certain elements of the conditions within the womb from which you were born. Trippy, mellow music, if you concentrate on its cadences and rhythms, will allow your brainwaves to normalise, and these things in tandem may produce the calm necessary for a good nights rest.

I hope you get the shut eye you need. After a shocking near encounter with madness, it's the best thing to get!

Update from twitter: Civilian shot in Copenhagen synagogue shooting has died, police say; 2 police officers wounded in attack - @DRNyheder

Reports of arrests in Copenhagen, but @tv2danmark says those arrested are people who did not follow police instructions. Copenhagen police have not indicated any suspect was arrested.

Initial reports out of Copenhagen say 1 person was shot in the head and 2 police officers were shot - one in the arm and another in the leg. The suspect reportedly fled on foot. Police say the male suspect was wearing black pants, black shoes and a light gray jacket with a multi-colored portion.

Update this morning....

Around 5.30 there was a third encounter some kilometres away at the train station I travel to each morning.
A person was called out by the police, he responded with shooting at them. They returned fire killing him in the process.

Right now they are investigating if it was him who did the two previous shootings.

Gun policy is VERY strict here... first you have to go through a lengthy course where you can't miss a single lecture, then you do the test or exam after which you are only eligeble to own a hunting riffle for the purpose of hunting.
If you want to hunt with a bow, you have to go through yet another course that is a bit harder.
You also can't own a blade that is longer than 7cm. Ofcourse this meant that box cutters got a bit troublesome at first because the courts had to make presendece of differentiating between carrying a box cutter for fun or for work reasons in a tool box. But nevertheless you should never fear running into anyone common person who is carrying a weapon of ANY kind.

Having said that.... there are certain groups throughout Denmark that are organized so well that they can easily get hold of almost any type of gun. This would be Hells Angels, Bandidos, Loyal to Familia, White Pride, extremist muslims (whom are really covert and not apparent at all in daily life) and so on and so on.
I had a neighbour once that I found out was white pride. He was a nice talkative guy that treated me as any other guy when we met on the our balcony.
Some time after though, I found out that he had had a shotgun lying around under his bed because he in a drunken craze went down town and shot two guys who he thought was hitting on his girlfriend.

These are hardened criminals that don't really care about repercussions. 99% of danes don't care for weapons at all or treat them with the deserved respect as purpose tools.

By far the majority of the time bystanders are left unhurt, as the attacks that occur between groups seem pretty close-up, and actually this attack yesterday is the worst there has ever been in Denmark I would think (if you measure by potential).

So in general, you shouldn't feel unsafe in Denmark or Copenhagen. In fact I would say that warning that the US foreign office gave about Copenhagen some time ago was a complete joke...

Well, to update on the inevitable.

Police in Copenhagen have killed the suspect, who after the shooting at the "free speech and anti-blasphemy" café, went on to kill a Jew near a Synagogue. Allah Akbar, for it was undoubtedly what he was muttering as the police closed in.

I would say to any believer from any faith. If your God is not able to defend itself without the intervention of humans...why do you worship them ??? Each person must be allowed to perceive God as they see fit...but if the God that they perceive actually exists....wouldn't they defend their own honor if they were offended by a thing. When a God wants honor they will receive it. Worship is not something we make happen it is something we cannot prevent.

One person has died after 200 bullets were fired into a cafe in Copenhagen in an attack on a cartoonist who insulted the Prophet Mohammed.

A man, aged 40, was killed when two masked gunmen sprayed bullets into the Krudttoenden cafe in the centre of the Danish capital this afternoon.

It is believed the target was Lars Vilks, the controversial Swedish cartoonist who drew the Prophet Mohammed as a dog.

well now, this is very interesting.

Contrast this with the events in the state of Tasmania in Australia in 1996 where one bloke, supposedly, a 29 year old bloke with an intellectual age of 13, walked into a cafa and shot 20 people with 19 bullets, Moreover, he killed them all with head and neck shots and then went on to skill 30+ others in around the cafa.

Either the muso's did not means business or this bloke in Australia had to have been a highly trained and skilled sharpshooter and be one of the 10 best assassins in the world, and not some odd nutcase who never had any weapons training in his life. He as actually afraid of guns.

This is quite similar to what happened in France. Cartoonist(s) attacked, jews attacked, and attacker shot and killed by the police.

And now Nuttyyahu is coming forward incouraging Danish jews to flee to Israel because the attacks on jews will never stop. That man really really needs to lose the election this spring and then he needs to be forgotten by the world....

I thought that too. Im glad this guy was such a bad shot, but how do you fire 200 rnds into a rally and only hit 3 people?

Was he shooting above their heads or what?

Also, I didny know they had a ban on knives over 6 inches in denmark. That's a little absurd.
