Americans glorify violence, torture, blood and guts, shooting people, but the human body is to be hidden and legislated against being exposed. imo...symptoms of a very sick culture. No wonder the www. is mostly porn. See the disconnect?


We shouldn't generalize. It's one lawmaker in one state who is trying to pass this-not Americans. I certainly don't glorify violence and don't know anyone else who enjoys it, although it does seem to sell-to a lot of people from a lot of countries.

It is a principal known as "voting with your feet". It means that if your local government becomes too oppressive or maintains a policy that detracts from your ability to get work and make a living, you can leave and find greener pastures.

This is impossible if those deleterious policies are national.

Okay-Well, maybe it's the element of those we associate with? I honestly don't know (personally) of anyone who feels the way that you describe, but I think that people are (mostly) the same everywhere. We all have differences yes, but we are more alike than we are different.. for the most part.

From the Declaration of Independence:

It's not at all impossible to move to another country.

And if one state gets away with it, another state will surely try. It's our job and responsibility to make our employees (the government) work for us, not run away from them when they get too oppressive.

The constitution is for the union of the states, the federal government.

Also, that is the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution (not that I consider the DOI beneath legal consideration).

So, are you saying that, if I don't like the prices at one store I should kill everybody rather than go next door to check the competitors prices?

I should make it clear that we will dissolve the federal government if it continues to ignore the constitution as we rightly should, most likely without bloodshed.

Many years from now, while you lay watching re-runs of Dr. Oz in your beds, would you trade all the days from this to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our politicians that while they may take our yoga pants, they will never take our freedom!

First they came for yoga pants and I did nothing for I did not wear them. Next day they came for wife-beater sleeveless shirts, and I still did nothing for I did not wear them. Then they came for (insert male equivalent of yoga pants here) and nobody did anything.

What do you mean by that? It's for us all. It regulates the states. (Check the 14th amendment). And what I said has nothing to do with the Constitution.

I think you have misunderstood what I've said. I didn't say it "rules" us. Where do you get this? It regulates the state government in some areas to protect the PEOPLE from state government. If that's not clear, I can draw pictures.
