I seen one a decade ago where you heard a sick gurgling. The poster above who went into detail had it right. That's why I think some are not real because I've never seen one like that one from a decade ago. If you want to get public opinion on your side, this would be the way to do it. Invading 7 countries in 5 years is a little behind schedule.

Not, usually. The victim looks like they should be screaming, but they sever the windpipe almost immediately. I've seen a few different styles performed. Again, the firsts start back in the initial stages of the iraq war. That in fact is the most vivid I remember. The soldier kept trying to swat at the man, who was attempting to behead him. The soldier was laying face down having been previously shot/ wounded. The man eventually worked his way to the soldiers back pressing a knee into his back and literally sawing at the poor mans neck with a small knife eventually beheading him. Whole ordeal took a minute and a half or so, then he held up the mans head and the face contorted and gasped and "screamed" but obviously no air could pass through his mouth.

That one messed me up the most. The current method seems to be plunging the knife into the throat from the side, cutting out towards the adams apple, then finishing by removing the head. They seem to be sure to cut arteries and wind pipe almost immediately. Not that this act is humane, but it's as humane as possible. I hope this answers both yours and the OP's questions.

I'm happy to say I couldn't tell you what goes on in one of those videos, as that kind of stuff freaks me out like it does you.

There is some speculation that a person remains conscious and alive for a few seconds after their head is removed from their body. In a violent situation like a beheading, the brain is still alive, and takes time to die. Therefore a person can still think, until the brain dies from lack of oxygen/blood.

Truly one of the most barbaric forms of execution possible.

Yep, this soldier seemed to remain conscious and responsive to his environment after his head had been removed from his body. It was literally two mouth movements before I shut the video off and pretty much shook at what i had just sat through. I was in my grade twelve year and these were the opening moments of the war in Iraq. This american soldier was shot, disarmed over powered and beheaded on video. Messed me right up. It's burned into my mind.

Yeah I certainly would not recommend viewing these videos.I see one ten years ago and it was off key,I could not shake the image for months.

I know this is totally barbaric and evil in its purest form and needs to stop.

I also read another comment by a poster in this thread,which suggested there were days when acts like this would be eradicated? That is not so,back not so long ago,the European establishments would make ISIS look like Teddy Bears. They had this sort of ghastly death down to a tee,the same goes

People also still que up to watch this (in the M.E.) the same as medieval times (a morbid curiosity I suppose) another thing worth mentioning, is that most Muslims are quite at ease around blood since children,what with the sacrificing of the Rams and what not,while some in say the US,are out over the firing range with Uncle,these Guys will be cutting throats of animals,I see a video about their festival and the kids were absolutely not bothered by what they saw,but the host of the program was flinching and heaving.

This kind of evil has always been present,we just need to recognize and then eradicate the REAL enemy...

The fact that i am sickened enough by these descriptions more than truly prooves the fact i did well not to watch the videos even out of curiosity.

Some people have asked why i have no problem with shooting videos or corpses which have been shot, and its quiet simple, while bullet holes make a mess, usualy its just not as explicitly gorey as a mutilation or an i.e.d attack or a beheading
i just get grossed out enough by fake heads in movies

I'm a believer that these videos are western propaganda. WHY fake the videos ? they are clearly filmed in front of a green screen and in front of studio cameras, as is evident from the shadows.
Those who believe they are 'real' are either conditioned or disinfo. Those that say there are 'uncut' versions can never link to one.
When governments make it 'illegal' to watch these videos that are clearly studio productions it does not take a rocket scientist to work out why. They are NOT preventing you from having nightmares, they simply want as many sheeple as possible to remain ignorant of the FACTS. If enough people actually watched the vids then more people would start asking questions.

also that was about a year ago that al qaeda said they had no ties with them
however in the last few months, particularly the last few weeks
there has been a massive pledge of allegiance for islamic groups including taliban groups who have now come under the isis name

You probably saw Chechclear. It was a Russian beheaded by a muslim in Chechnya. In my opinion the worst I have ever seen. Although there are many a close second.

I think people in the west are to detached from reality. Choosing to watch a video is NOT an option for many in the world.

Go to liveleak and see what the real world is like. The west is so wussified, it will be complete shock when these horrors come westward.
