Wireless has small battery....check. ...and surfaces used on can affect it.. ..usually they work well.. ..

The one I pounded into dust, lol was affected by surfaces for sure. In the reviews the problem of not capturing was mentioned, but I ignored that. heh.

Logitech was mentioned by another poster and I did have good luck with them, however I found the on an off switch a pain, the ridge is really small, so when it died, I went for another type.

Batteries I swap out no problem there in any of them, 'cept the plug in, I tried but it just wouldn't take a battery, lol.

To all those who took the time to reply to this thread, I thank you. I received my new mouse, it captures great, and the on/off button is raised enough for easy use. So far I am well pleased.
