I was thinking of how blessed I am to have my family and friends and how I will have a Wonderful Christmas. I was also thinking of how many people will spend it alone, or sick or suffering in some way. To all of those people I wish for them better days, hope, peace and a world of love.

If we have any members who will be alone. Please come here to share your day with others who may be in the same boat.

Thank you for this Night.

Christmas is hard for many for many different reasons. You have a kind heart and are a blessing to so many.

Thank you.

Beautiful gesture. Many people "celebrate" the holidays, each in their own way. As you say, some are alone, and some are are with family, friends.
Some are with family and friends, but still feel alone.

Make it a difference. Hope we all have some fun these days, and will try harder next year. As we always do ?

Relax, the sun will be back in 2½ days, rising... rising - bringing summer, warmth and happiness!

Thanks Chaplin!

Awesome idea!
It is just me and the old man this year, well my brother might make his way down from arizona.
I might be poking my head in here to see how it goes

I never cared about Christmas anymore after being a teenager and hearing my mother was terminally ill close before it. I had for a very long time a yearly little depression in the week and half/two preceding it and the Christmas days itself.

I still have spend some Christmases with friend and family regarding that, but also lots not, but I`m actual OK with that...most of the times I see them the days after it and new years eve.

But I won`t be alone because my buddy is here...

It`s the cat of my good friends and ex-neighbours who comes to visit. They live in the city and over here he can hunt and fight (he loves to bully) in his old territory while they are visiting their family in Germany.

Thank you for sharing that! My husband lost his Mom a week or two before Christmas.
You couldn't ask for a better companion there. Cats rule!

I know when my Father passed away 7 years ago I couldn't imagine our first Christmas without him. I couldn't imagine celebrating or being happy. Then Christmas came and the whole family was together and we had a lovely day for ourselves. We all knew that Dad loved Christmas and that the last thing he would want is for any of us not to have a nice Christmas. He was with us in our hearts. I'm sure your Mom would want nothing less for you than to see you enjoy Christmas as best you can. HUGS!
