As We install Our avatars,
to suit our mood,
some speak of joy,
others of Brood.

I change Mine so often that,
some don't recognize Me,
one day it is a Roaring Dragon,
other times it sits calmly in a tree.

My Dragons are something,
I really enjoy,
they bring Me pleasure,
like a child with a new toy.

They actually do suit,
My needs of the times,
Whether I am telling a Story,
or writing a new rhyme.

Some People here I know,
just at a quick glance,
by Their Image They display,
to suit Their circumstance.

One may show a Noble Warrior,
dressed for a war.
Another may show an Animal,
in a field or on a shore.

They all tell Me something,
that I cannot deny.
They tell Me of everyone's personal tastes,
be them on land or in sky.

To Each Their own these,
images do relay,
Our sense of individuality,
We show Everyone every day.

They do show individuality, I enjoy analyzing the reasons behind them. Some are very interesting indeed.

Very cool poem!!

I'm clearly a narcissist. Actually, I couldn't find anything abstract that represented me.

Thanx Alisha! Hmmm, now You made Me realize something that I regretfully omitted in this Poem. I did not acknowledge Those without an avatar at all, or who use Their pic for one! I do apologize to You, (nice Pic by the way!) and NrthStar, and others Whom I have not mentioned in those, and other possibly unmentioned categories. I am truly Sorry and meant no Ills because of My error!

I often reflect on times long past,
Steam avatars changing so fast.

For my entertainment and humor I bear,
images of mirth and men with long hair.

Memes and rudeness are often displayed,
making conversation and jokes when games are played.

I have a tendency to change representative avatars often, especially on Steam and Skype where my gaming buddies are most prevalent. The avatar I use here I commissioned from a fine artist on deviantart.

It took me two years of trying to get an avatar up before I gave in. Then my friend "Daryllyn" came along and fixed me up. Thanks again, Daryllyn!

Yes, that's me fishing in my avatar...

S&F nice poem.

Just noticed we are about two hours away and yes, it's cold.

If you like ice fishing, the best strip mine lakes in Hellinois are about five minutes from here. in a month or so, the fishing will be on. Just bundle up!

I appreciate the info on the ice fishing, but No. I have a messed up back and the cold air really takes a toll on Me. Even numbed up on pain killers, does not help, much. Take it easy, Syx.

Hold my horn, you know you should,
it's full of wine, and really good.

Grip it tight, don't let it slip,
put to your lips, and take a sip.

Haha I tricked you, it's only whey,
left from the cheese I made today.

As if I'd give you precious wine,
I keep it for ME, it is all mine...
